Zoë's Animal Hospitality

Hi I’m Zoë! I love all animals, big and small and have been around them my whole life. >I have owned many different types of animals: dogs, cats, fish, a ferret, guinea pigs, a hedgehog, ect... >I have experience with a spectrum of ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I am good with puppies in training, as well as senior dogs who need accommodations. >Right now I have a dog (Bailey, 3), a farm cat, a fish, and also a flock of ducks. >I also offer yard clean up services and homemade dogfood! >I have been working for Rover since 2023 after I graduated from OSU >I moved to Fairfield County in 2024

Zoe was very nice and Hudson was taken care of while we were gone. The only couple of things that I was not pleased about was her location. It was a very busy street and there was no fenced in yard. He had to wear his harness all week. Zoe’s property was very run down the grass was real long and the house was very cluttered

Doggy Day Care • May 24, 2026

This was my first time leaving my pup Reuben with a sitter and Zoe was just the sweetest! She made me feel so comfortable leaving Reuben with her! He seemed like he had a nice, relaxing day when I picked him up which was awesome because sometimes he can be a bit nervous!

Dog Walking • Apr 18, 2026

Wow! Zoe is tremendous! I was very hesitant in using Rover with my best buddy Utah because he was getting walked every day by a family friend since he was a puppy. He is now going to be 4 years old in July. The dog walker he had decided to retire from her daily walks with Utah. I had to find someone great to walk Utah on a daily basis. After reading the reviews for Zoe and also seeing that she lived fairly close, I decided to reach out to her. She has been great. She asked great questions up front about Utah and what my needs were caring for him and what she may need to watch out for. Utah absolutely adores her. Zoe has been reliable and has communicated great with me. She lets me know when she arrives, she lets me know how Utah was during the walk and her visit time with him, she lets me know if he peered or pooped, and she sends me pictures of Utah while on their walk. She really likes Utah as well. I think both Utah and Zoe look forward to their daily walks. Zoe is trustworthy, mature, reliable, thoughtful, and caring. She is everything you could possibly want to care for your furry companion that you love so much. I 100% recommend Zoe without hesitation.

I know my babies will be taken care of with Zoe. She even manages to walk all 3 large dogs at once.

Safety, trust & environment

On Visits: I’m down stop in and visit your dog, or take them out on a walk in the yard or neighborhood. Feeding, playing, walking, trick training, giving medicine, and having hang time are all in my comfort zone. I can follow specific directions and trust my gut instincts. I love all dogs, big and small. They all have different personalities and I like to take my time to learn a dog and their preferences and tendencies. I always bring a treat with me on meet and greets if allowed, and I understand dog behavior enough to interpret their mood. For Dog Boarding: At my house, we have baby gates to separate the floors of the house, the cat stays upstairs most of the time. I like to have dogs meet on leashes or through a gate, I never leave unfamiliar dogs alone together, and my house is very dog friendly, with hardwood and linoleum and not much floor clutter. Outside, my dog is off leash trained (I know I am spoiled), but all other dogs I keep on a leash if we are outside or on an 100ft rope when we take walks through the field.

Pets

A typical day

We love hanging outside, chilling in the garden, playing around the yard. We might also walk through the field behind my house. My dog Bailey loves to play, patrol the yard, and take naps on the porch.
