We hired Zoe to house sit and take care of our 13 year old cat while we went on vacation. She visited twice before we left to meet our cat and was able to pet her with no problem at all. She's training to be a vet tech so she appeared to be a good fit. Three days into our 13 day vacation, she informed us that she wouldn't be fulfilling her commitment to do what we hired her for, WHILE WE WERE IN FRANCE. When I texted her after her first night to see how everything was going, she said that our cat hissed at her and swatted at her leg when she tried to leave the bedroom. I called her and explained that I thought our cat was scared and feeling territorial and cats just hiss, that's what they do. On day 2 she said she was hissing and tail flopping and day 3 she said she hissed and ran at her. I would've believed the hissing because I understand why cats hiss, but not the rest because our cat would've been getting used to seeing her and she's never behaved that way with any other sitter. In addition, I noticed that she updated her calendar on Rover on the day we left to indicate she was available when she was supposed to be working for us, so I don't believe she ever intended to stay. We didn't receive one picture of our cat until the last morning she was there and I had to ask for it. We had to scramble to find people to cover for us, which is extremely difficult when you're out of the country. Some kind hearted friends who had never met our cat offered to help us out. They said she was friendly and let them pet her. No hissing, no tail flopping or running after them. Obviously, I don't recommend Zoe because she cannot be counted on.

Zoe stayed at my home and took very good care of my dogs. The communication between the two of us was great. She sent me pictures of my dogs while I was away. Very pleased and will use Zoe in the future. Thank you.

Our dog loved Zoe! He was so happy to see her that he’d cry and lean on her. This speaks volumes to what a great job she did with him! I’d have her sit with him again and again! So lucky we found her!

Zoe was an amazing caregiver for my dog and two cats. She stayed at my house for a week while I was on vacation, and I returned to a clean home and happy pets. She was very communicative and reached out with any questions. I was especially impressed that she had put the sheets in the washer before she had left. I will definitely be having Zoe watch my fur babies again!
