Good news: I saw a dog today
Pet care experience
When I was 8 years old I shared responsibility for giving my family dog daily insulin shots for diabetes. Not fun, I know! BUT, this did prepare me for the necessary adaptability to take care of pets with different needs. I have been trusted with pets from 3 months to 12 years. I fostered a dog for about one month before finding her a wonderful farm to live on. I spent the past fall caring for dogs full time in preparation to adopt my own dog, who now thrives with me in NYC!

Zoe was great! My dogs loved her I could tell and she took great care of them. She took them out to go to the bathroom all the time, took them on walks, sent us pictures and updates, took in our mail, etc etc. she was great. Zoe provided house sitting in our home for several days. She came over in advance to meet our dogs. She was both responsive and kept me well updated and also grabbed mailed, etc. She shared pictures and made sure the dogs were getting ample time outside and exercising. We really had no worries because we were so confident in her taking good care of them. Highly recommend!
Zoe was absolutely the care giver that our dog needed. She embraced him as her own and kept us up to date with their activities. I recommend her highly and wish her the very best. We enjoyed her so much that we hope to be able to stay in touch with her in the future!
Zoe spent several nights watching our cat. She did a wonderful job and kept us updated with frequent pictures and texts. Our cat can be a bit shy, but she quickly came around to Zoe. Would highly recommend, and will be using Zoe again!

I live in an apartment with three other roommates who are all dog-friendly. My apartment is situated on a quiet street with close proximity to two major parks, which allows for frequent socialization and exercise!

I would like to know if the pet has anything that sets them off (loud noises, men, certain commands) so that I can be prepared. I would also like to know if they have any aggression with food or other dogs.
A typical day
I like to spend quality time with pets outside walking and exploring but also enjoy playing with them indoors. I recently got my dog Louis interested in treat-finding puzzles, and I’m sure he would be happy to share with a new friend.

Availability
My daily pet care routine begins at 6am with a trip to the park so my high energy dog can socialize and work up an appetite for breakfast. I am able to bring him on a minimum of three long walks per day in addition to the morning park trip, and would be happy to bring another dog along for the fun. Since I am a graduate student, I have classes throughout the week, and often have evenings and weekends open. I have a variable schedule for availability, that will be updated and reflected on my calendar as often as possible. Feel free to message me with questions!
