We have two large, strong, anxious dogs, one of which has trust issues, is reactive, and has a strong prey drive. Both are on daily oral medications, and one must be administered eye drops twice daily. To say our dogs are special needs is an understatement! This is why we haven't been away in the two years since our veterinary hospital closed their fear-free boarding facility. When an opportunity arose to visit family in Saskatchewan, I reached out to our local canine behaviour expert for help. She advised that some of her clients had reported success with Rover.com. That's where I found the amazing Ziya! I truly can't recommend her highly enough. Ziya is a calm, confident, and experienced dog handler. Prior to our trip, Ziya came to meet our dogs, not once, but twice, to make sure that they were comfortable with her, and she with them. As I watched her interact with our dogs, I was immediately put at ease. She was observant and attentive to their behaviour and reactions to her. Our dogs responded so very well to her confidence and experience. Ziya sent us updates and photos while we were away. We were able to completely relax and enjoy our time away, knowing that the boys were under Ziya's wonderful care in their own home. We returned from our trip to happy, well-exercised dogs and a very clean and tidy house. Thank you for giving us back our freedom, Ziya! 🩷
