I take the safety and wellbeing of every pet very seriously. Every walk, visit, and in-home stay is carefully planned to ensure your dog or cat feels secure, happy, and comfortable! I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and cues, so pets always feel supported and stress free. I provide a calm, structured environment, whether we’re walking outside, exploring new spaces, or staying at home. For pets with special needs, anxiety, or shyness, I’m especially attentive and patient, making sure routines are followed and pets feel safe. I communicate openly with owners, sending regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for. Safety and trust are my top priorities, and I strive to create an environment where pets and their humans feel confident and relaxed. I am very empathetic and understand how hard it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care, so I strive to deliver a service I myself would be happy with.

A typical day
Take for long or short walks (whatever may be required), I love to explore new places! I also enjoy fun training, sniffing games, off lead fields, forests, muddy puddles!

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Zimi! 🐶 I’ve been caring for pets for around 20 years, including running my own dog walking and pet sitting business and studying animal care in college. Along the way, I’ve had the joy of working with all kinds of pets, from playful puppies to older dogs, and even travelling across Europe helping large groups of rescue dogs. This gave me lots of experience reading dog body language, understanding different temperaments, and making sure every dog feels safe and happy. I have experience with training and mental stimulation with fun games! I also have my own rescue dog who is reactive, which has taught me a lot about patience, calm handling, and understanding anxious or shy dogs. Because of this, I’m especially good with dogs who need a little extra reassurance and care. Right now, I don’t host dogs at my home, but I love walking, visiting, and spending time with pets in their own environment, giving them plenty of love, attention, and fun while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and great at following routines. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or shy and slow-paced, I adjust my approach to suit their personality and needs. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need a calm presence, extra reassurance, or gentle handling.

I have used Zimi many times to look after my english bullterrier. Having a big boisterous breed that take someone special! I never have any worry leaving my dog with her and am always happy when she takes him out on walks knowing he was safe. Couldn’t recommend Zimi more! I will definitely be using her again in the future For Dogs sitting and will continue to use her for my dog walks as I know he has a great time with Zimi.
Zim is such an animal person! I know she used to run an animal walking and pet sitting business, and worked with rescue dogs for years. She would have gained loads of experience with all sorts of pets. Wherever she is, she'll find some form of wildlife and somehow ends ups connecting with them, even if their wild! A kind, trustworthy and beautiful soul who would take the best care of anyone's little fur babies.
What can I say every pet or dog is treated with great care and compassion. Your pet would be in such safe hands a real home from home experience when you need someone to look after your beloved pet. Zimera treats them as her own and is keen to make them comfortable when she’s around so your pet would be well and truly looked after. Would highly recommend for all pet types especially dogs.
