I grew up with cats, dogs, and birds, and pet sit frequently. Because I’m home most of the day, your pet will get lots of supervision, playtime, and companionship, not just quick check-ins. I’m very communicative, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. *PLEASE NOTE* If your dog is insistent about sleeping in bed and will whine or bark otherwise, please do not book with me. Zillah was so great with our dog Charming! She was able to give him his meds, even though he likes to be difficult, and constantly sent updates and photos. I felt so at ease our entire trip knowing Charming was happy and cared for. We definitely plan on using her services again!

Zillah watched my cat for five days and she was perfect!! She went above and beyond even what I asked of her and sent plenty of updates on how he was doing. My cat gets anxious when I'm away so I hate leaving him, but he was so calm and happy when I came back that I knew he had been in good hands. She respected all my requests for both pet and apartment care and handled everything from feeding to litter and play. I felt very safe and secure having her in charge, and I don't trust my kitty with just anyone! Zillah has a super friendly and warm personality but knows how to handle things professionally as well - the best of both worlds. I would highly recommend her to anyone and know she will shower your fur baby with attention and love!

Schedule
I WFH so your pet will have someone around all day. I am able to do morning, afternoon, and night time walks, and have an enclosed backyard to play in if your pet needs some chill outside time off leash (it’s a Brooklyn rarity but somehow I managed to find one!)

Safety, trust & environment
I only offer boarding. Generally I expect owners to bring their own supplies to be kept at my house for the duration of your pets stay. I have plenty of space and a backyard to play in. If you are boarding for an extended stay I'll ask a few questions (how do we feel about dog parks, how is reactivity, any favorite parks or walks in the area we should hit, etc).
A typical day
My schedule will depend on the schedule you've already set with your pet; I wouldn't want to disturb their rhythm more than a new environment already does. We'll follow your existing walk + feeding schedule, with playtime interspersed between depending on your pet's needs and energy levels.
