Hi! My name is Sophia, and caring for animals has been both my profession and my passion. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and have over two years of experience working as a Senior Veterinary Nurse in a busy small animal hospital. During this time, I cared for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, including puppies, senior pets, and animals recovering from surgery or managing long-term medical conditions. I am confident administering oral medications, monitoring health, recognising early signs of illness, and providing calm, compassionate care. I am currently completing an MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare at the University of Edinburgh, where I study animal behaviour, welfare, and evidence-based pet care. This means I not only understand your pet’s physical health but also their emotional wellbeing and individual behavioural needs. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, company while you’re away, or extra patience and gentle handling, I will treat them with the same care and attention I would give my own.
