I work full time at a veterinary hospital for 4 days a week, granted a 1 hour lunch each work day. I currently have Tuesday and weekends off. I have lowered my Rover radius to ensure I can make visits during my lunch period so your pet is taken care of.

Safety, trust & environment
My first goal is to have your pets happy and comfortable with my presence. I have experience with handling several weeks old pets to elderly pets, which includes several forms of medication administration. My priorities are solely your pet and their needs. If this includes potty breaks during the lunch period, multiple walks, timed feeding, litter box changing, and more consider it no problem.
Information ZiaDawn C. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know your pet's preferred treats & food restrictions. If your pet takes any medications that I should be aware of, what side effects should I look out for? If I need to administer them, what's the best method of action you typically use? What games do they like to play? For dogs, whether they're dog friendly & where their preferred walks are located? Finally, is there any special needs you pets may have?
A typical day
When home with my husbands dog I like to enjoy dog friendly snacks with him, such as sliced apples, seedless melons, blueberries, pineapples, and peanut butter. While sharing these snacks I like to practice commands. We also enjoy sniff walks, dog friendly hiking trails, & occasionally strolling lowes to get some neutral socialization. With our cats, we enjoy playing with them, lounging around and petting them. Occasionally hiding treats around the home to mentally stimulate them. Sometimes just being silly and rambunctious with them.

Pet care experience
For the last 3 years, I've been an active pet sitter and I care deeply for my repeat clients. I've unfortunately had some pass or move within the last few months and I'm now open for new clientele. I'm Fear Free certified to handle animals in the least stressful way possible for everyone involved. I am a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary hospital here in Colorado Springs. I'm looking forward to becoming a certified veterinary technician once passing the VTNE, and I've been around large animals and house pets all my life. For the last 18 years, I've helped my family with the animals we keep in pastures and pets at home. I've always cared for animals and I'm excited to head further into the veterinary field as well as further this portion of my pet care. Insured by Pet Care Business Insurance

Reviews
Definitely recommend Zia! She did a great job with my husky!!

Ziadawn was fantastic with our two Australian Shepherds, Miklo and Maple! She stayed the night at our place and took excellent care of them. Aussies can be high-energy, but she handled them perfectly, making sure they got their walks and stayed on their feeding schedule. We really appreciated the constant communication—she sent us plenty of photo updates, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We came home to happy, well-rested pups. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive sitter!

Zia was so good with my Moose. She gave me details about how he was doing as well as pictures. She was very thorough and detailed carrying out my wishes. I will definitely use her again.

Zia took amazing care of our two fur babies while we were away! She was a huge help administering medicine for my senior cat twice a day which was such a huge relief for us being so far away! She left our place clean, was very communicative with us when needed, and even watered plants for us! Your pets and home will be in a great hands with her!
