I appreciate Zhikun's willingness to take Luna on short notice when all of our other prospects had fallen through. I had not been aware of rover.com until a kennel owner turned us down because the notice was too short and then told me about it as an alternative. I basically signed up and made our booking that same day. Luna did lose a bit of weight but from our perspective that was a good thing because our vet. had been warning us about her being a little overweight.
My golden retriever had a wonderful day with Zhikun! We were very satisfied! Definitely will come back for next boarding soon!
Zhikun was great with Tommy and he gave me updates everyday. I will definitely leave my dog with him again.
My dogs had a wonderful time with zhikun. They enjoyed the walk in the park and when we picked them up, both were well behaved, fed and very happy.
We got a video every few days of our girl while on vacation! It was very much appreciated as we missed her so much.

I am running a pet grooming store in Burnaby for 6 years and I can do full time pet house boarding at my house and with my family help to care all pets

I keep a consistent feeding and walking schedule, and send regular photo/video updates to reassure pet parents. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, love, and reliability.

A typical day
A typical day with the pets I care for is filled with love, comfort, and plenty of fun! We start with a morning walk to get some fresh air and light exercise, followed by breakfast and quiet bonding time. During the day, I engage the pets with stimulating play—like fetch, tug-of-war, or puzzle toys to keep their minds active. For dogs that enjoy it, we might take another walk or play in a safe outdoor area. I also make sure they have time to relax and nap comfortably. In the evening, we wind down with gentle cuddles and another short walk before bedtime. I always adjust the routine to match each pet’s personality, energy level, and special needs.
