Following the training philosophy and methods developed by the monks of New Skete, I also help trained many dogs throughout the years. Dogs have been my preferred house companions my entire life.

Since I work at home online, your dog would never be left alone, and since I have almost 10 acres of land, and made trails in the snow, your dog will get many walks (long or short depending on their needs) during the day, and the early morning hours if they stay overnight, as I'm an active outdoor "type".

Information Zhen Y. would like to know about your pet
If your dog does not walk well on leash, we'd need to discuss training needs - I'd provide it under certain circumstances; in other cases, outdoor walks may not be suitable. If your dog can demonstrate excellent recall, off lead play and walk will be possible in the enclosed paddocks but their ability would have to be proven before this may happen. Any behavioural issues would need to be disclosed and discussed to determine the suitability, so should the medication needs.
A typical day
I made trails in the snow in the fields (just short of 12km) so there will be either a lot of "nature walks" on lead, or off lead if the dog is proven to have excellent recall. In the early morning hours, I typically walk 3+ hours and the dog can come with. Or if they are not used to that long of a walk, I can split it up to a few shorter walks. Play time will be scheduled for every 2 hours during the day, 15-30 mins each time. And an hour long play time before bed if they are sleeping here. I have followed the teachings of Monks of New Skete for over 4 decades so well versed in their way of training dogs.

I know that Zhen is the best person to look after our four legged pets. We met about 20 yrs ago at a dog park,we started to hang out because our dogs and developed a true friendship.I have looked after her dogs and she has looked after mine. I have Seen many dogs be attracted to her . She is calme,resourceful and honest. I would highly recommend Zhen.
Terri used to have a farm full of animals and took great care of all of them. Including cats, a dog, llama, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese and pigs. She always put their needs ahead of her own staying up all hours during snow storms to make sure the electric fence was cleared so her animals would be safe in the morning. And when her circumstances changed she found loving homes for all of the ones she couldnt keep.
