Got my first cat at the age of 9 and have been caring for animals for over 30 years, from feeding to assisting with cat births. Whether in Shanghai or Vancouver, I have been an active SPCA volunteer, rescuing many stray animals. As a Fear-Free certified pet caregiver, I understand how to communicate with cats and dogs and treat them like family.

Another happy “vacation” for our cat with Zhen 😊 It’s always such a relief knowing she’s in caring hands. We really appreciate all the photo and video updates, it’s so nice to see our kitty relaxed and comfortable. Also a big thank you for being so flexible when our plans changed and we had to pick up our cat earlier. Really grateful we found Zhen!
Zhen was the best pet sitter you could ask for! She took such good care of my senior cat while I was away for nearly 3 weeks. She sent updates every day and it was clear to see how happy and comfortable he was! What makes Zhen stand out even more is how aware and understanding she is of people’s typical worries when they have to be away from their beloved fur babies- she does everything she can to not only take genuinely loving care of your pet, but to make sure that the owner knows exactly how things are going every step of the way. I would trust Zhen with my cat again any day!
Zhen was great! She and her cat gave great care of my cat while she was there! My cat was bit shy at the beginning but once she warmed up, start to cuddle with both Zhen and her cat. She also provided photos everyday during the stay and video here and there. Definitely recommend her 👍
Zhen was an amazing sitter for my cat, Theo. She sent daily updates, and I never once doubted that he was well cared for and genuinely enjoying his time with her. Her cat is very friendly, and they got along surprisingly quickly. I honestly can’t express how grateful I am for her communication, patience, and care. I would absolutely trust her with Theo again. Zhen was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Luca. She sent the most adorable daily photos of him playing with toys and relaxing in different spots around her home. She already had everything set up for him, which made the whole process so easy and stress-free for us. We chatted a lot even before she met Luca because she was genuinely excited to look after him. It’s such a comfort to know someone loves your pet the way you do, and that’s exactly how it felt with Zhen. She’s watching Luca again in March and will definitely be our go-to cat sitter moving forward. Thank you, Zhen!
This was our first time using Rover, and we had a great experience with Zhen! Zhen is very caring and shared daily updates that made our vacation truly worry-free and guilt-free. Our cat is energetic, and Zhen kept him stimulated while giving him plenty of space to explore and feel comfortable. We really appreciate the excellent care and would happily recommend Zhen to others!
