Caring for your pet like my own
I’ve always had a strong connection with animals and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality. Having lived in Istanbul, where cats and dogs are a big part of everyday life, I became very comfortable being around animals with different temperaments and needs. I often helped care for stray cats and dogs, and those experiences taught me to approach animals with patience, gentleness, and respect. I’ve also looked after pets for my friends and through Rover many times, which has made me comfortable adapting to different routines, personalities, and energy levels. I understand that some pets are playful and affectionate, while others need more time and space to feel comfortable, and I’m happy to adjust my approach accordingly. I’m a calm, attentive, and affectionate sitter, and I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. My priority is always to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away.

I left my dog Camillo to a dog sitter for one night, looking for someone who could care for him with love and dedication. Zeynep fully met these expectations: she was exceptionally kind and accommodating, and kept me regularly updated throughout his stay.

Schedule
I’m a fourth-year medical student and spend much of my time studying at home, which gives me a flexible routine and plenty of time to keep pets company throughout the day. I love having a dog around while I study, and my schedule allows me to take regular breaks for walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and attention.

I live in a spacious, calm apartment where pets have plenty of room to move around, play, or simply find a comfortable place to relax. Since I’m home for much of the day, they receive lots of company and supervision. I also have toys available and can create a cozy, dedicated space where your pet can settle in and feel at home. For overnight stays, your pet will stay close to me in my room so they feel safe and never alone. I make sure they are comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for at all times. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I carefully follow their usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions, to keep them happy and stress-free in their familiar environment.
A typical day
I know how important consistency is when a pet is away from their owner, so I’m happy to follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements, playtime, and any other specific instructions. The same applies when I’m caring for a pet in their own home, I respect their familiar routine and environment and adapt my care to what makes them most comfortable. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, relaxed, and loved, while giving their owner peace of mind that they’re in attentive and caring hands.
