College student & dog lover!
Hey there! I’m a responsible college student with wide-open days this summer, so I have plenty of time to spoil your pet with constant love — whether that’s pets and cuddles, a long walk, or just hanging out near them! I have tons of experience caring for both dogs and cats, since my family had a successful Rover account for many years (attached are some pictures of me dog sitting, much younger, just as enthusiastic.) We also had our own beloved chiweenie, Bella, so I know how much it matters to leave your pet with someone who’ll treat them like family. I’m playful, affectionate, and organized, as well as attentive to the unique personalities of pets and their comfort levels with specific tasks. I’ll make sure you know your pet is happy and safe while you’re away, so expect updates and lots of photos! For any multi-day sits, I’d also love to set up a meet-and-greet first — feel free to reach out and we can find a time. Excited to meet your pet! I can accept dates up until September 12th, when I’ll have to head back to college.

Zev positively doted on our senior dog when she was in his care. He handled her fussy special diet, her worst displays of sidewalk attitude, and her insistence on taking over his home's most comfortable places to sit. Zev provided updates and photos so that we could enjoy our time away without worry. We really appreciated his flexibility with early drop off and late pick up--but most of all we were grateful for how sweetly he treated our little diva.
Zev was all you could ask for from a pet sitter: punctual, caring, and possessed of a pleasant disposition. He immediately made my pet and I very comfortable and made every concession we asked of him, providing updates as the days went on and assuring me of how well my dog was doing, thereby alleviating all my anxiety about being far from home and from my dog. I could not recommend him more! Thanks so much once again Zev, you really made life easier for us, I hope we're able to have you take care of Khanye again!
Absolutely incredible care! Quick responses, reliable, and adaptable to any type of dog temperament. My dog was very well taken care of and comfortable! I used him multiple times and would highly recommend!!
Mando had a great long weekend with Zev! He was very communicative and had a lot of fun with our pup. Highly recommend and would def book with him again!
Zev has been an extremely reliable and responsible pet sitter for our cat, Phoebe. He is easy to communicate with, thorough and goes out of his way to play with Phoebe and give her extra attention on his visits. I would highly recommend him for any pet care!
Zev is fantastic with animals! He was a loving, responsible, cuddly and playful pet-owner with his wonderful dog Bella. He’s organized, empathetic and a good communicator. And he has tons of experience, from taking care of multiple breeds of dogs via Rover to working with goats, chickens and bunnies on a summer camp farm. Highly recommended! You’d be lucky to have him care for your pet.

Schedule
I’ve got very open days this summer, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My schedule is quite flexible; reach out if there’s anything you’d like to fit into my calendar and I can try to make it work.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in South Park Slope, right near a dog run, and in a house with three floors and a backyard where your dog can play. I’m also just three blocks from Prospect Park and am happy to go on long rambles there!
A typical day
You can trust that your pet will be cared for at all times and given lots of attention! I love to go on long walks, and will love to take your dog through Prospect Park and the neighborhood, checking out new smells, being around other dogs. In the house, I’ll be around them all the time, playing games, petting, cuddling, or just being near them.
