Hi, I’m Zena! I’m based in Anchorage and grew up around dogs and cats. I’ve been caring for pets through Rover for over eight months, providing walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and I’m now offering boarding too! Spending time with animals is one of my favorite parts of my day. Whether your pet loves an outdoor adventure, playtime, or quiet company, I enjoy getting to know their personality and helping them feel comfortable with me. I also have a bunny of my own, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. My goal is to give your pet attentive, loving care and give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Zena was absolutely incredible watching our two dogs and cat. She was extremely communicative, took wonderful care of our animals, and our home. We will definitely be hiring her again!
Zena took care of our fur babies (two dogs and one cat) and our house while we were out of town for about a week. She sent us pictures and gave us updates on how everything was going, so we felt good knowing they were all being well cared for. We would definitely recommend her and hope to book with her again in the future!

Was able to hook Zena for 4 walks last minute, she very accommodating to the scheduale i preferred. She showed up on time and did excellent with my mean sounding Chihuahua mix. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a walker. If reliability, kindness and flexibility is what you're looking for with a walker, Zena is the lady to go to.
She is amazing!! We were out town, and Deb’s house sit + pet sit for us while we were gone. She kept us updated throughout the stay and is super friendly.
I’ve had Zena pet sit for me a few times while being out of town, and she has always done a phenomenal job! She communicates well, loves our animals, and is reliable.

Schedule
I work part time and can often accommodate different schedules with advance notice. Before booking, we’ll discuss your pet’s routine, the care they need, and how my availability fits their usual schedule.

I want your pet to feel comfortable and secure in my care. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, and daily routines, and take time to learn their preferences and boundaries. Before a stay, we’ll discuss any special needs, behavior concerns, and your pet’s comfort with being left alone. I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can make sure it’s a good fit. You can expect photo updates and communication about how your pet is doing.

A typical day
We’ll spend time doing what your pet enjoys, whether that’s sniff-filled walks, playing with favorite toys, or relaxing together. I’ll tailor activities to their age, energy level, and your preferences. Shy pets will have time to warm up at their own pace, with affection whenever they’re comfortable.

- Tell me about your pet’s personality, daily routine, favorite activities, and anything that helps them feel at ease! Please share any allergies, medications, leash habits, escape tendencies, or reactions to other animals, along with how long they’re comfortable being alone. For boarding, I’d also love to know their usual sleeping arrangements and whether they’re house-trained.
