I am a full time pet sitter! I update my availability weekly on Rover. I work Monday through Sunday, and am very flexible. I also work all Holidays. I take same day bookings, and my cancellation policy is 3 days! Please be aware that my pet day care rate depends on how many hours are needed.

I have a 7yr old terrier mix dog who is on the smaller side. She is very curious and likes meeting new dogs who are closer to her in size. We have a small fenced in backyard for sunbathing, and a few nearby parks to get our exercise. All walking, feeding, and bedtime schedules can be accommodated. When taking care of pets in their own homes, I always treat the space with respect and observe any house rules. I am open to any questions about myself or my home.

A typical day
The last thing I want to see is your pet bored… I know that certain breeds require a lot more stimulation throughout the day than others. I love going outside and to nearby parks and doing whatever activity the dog Im with enjoys. Of course I determine if the environment we’re in is appropriate for the activity we are doing. Based on your dogs needs will depend on the type of fun we do that day and what we explore! I am always up for long walks so they can have the most outdoor time possible, and all the sniffs they can get. Indoor fun is limitless, brushing up on commands, tug-o-war, mental stimulation games etc!

I have had six dogs throughout my life, and absolutely cannot live without one! Ive been on Rover since April of 2024 and have 6 years of experience caring for dogs of my family and friends - including my own. I consider myself to be patient, kind, and attentive. I love meeting new animals, and love meet and greets! I want to make sure I'm a good match for your pet! Every animal is unique and has its own personality and needs - therefore I try to accommodate as best I can.

I had a wonderful experience working with Zay! My pup Spud spent a week with Zay at their place, and I felt totally at ease. Ample communication and pics throughout the week let me know Spud was in good care. Zay was considerate and thoughtful, especially during challenges that came up like Spud refusing to eat. They figured out a solution and kept me updated about how he was doing. Would not hesitate to leave Spud in Zay’s care again!
Zay managed our dog and cats so well - she was super detail-oriented about how to care for them, asked questions, was super prompt, and organized about sharing information. She also left our house cleaner than she found it - much appreciated!
We came home to a happy and relaxed pet (and a clean house!). Zay is trustworthy, reliable, prompt, and a great communicator. She took great care of our dog, Zoë & we would definitely book with her again.
Zay was wonderful! Her communication was great, she asked good questions, and Pippin came home super happy and obviously well taken care of. Will definitely hire her again!
