As a third-year veterinary student, my passion for animals is at the heart of everything I do. My experience with cats, dogs, and rabbits spans over several years, during which I’ve volunteered at an animal sanctuary for over a year. There, I helped rehabilitate and socialize animals to prepare them for adoption. Additionally, I have worked at a kennels and cattery and gained hands-on experience in a veterinary practice. These roles have equipped me with invaluable skills and knowledge in animal care, ensuring your pets receive the best possible attention. I’ve been using Rover for over 4 years, during which I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and caring for many wonderful pets, each with their own unique personality. As a pet owner myself, I understand the joy and companionship pets bring to your life. I have dealt with many anxious pets and have found the most important thing is to have patience. Recently, I went to cat sit for 2 cats who were very timid. I made sure to spend a lot of time with them and instead of me approaching them I let them approach me. This made both cats feel more at ease and they started engaging in many activities rather than hiding under the bed. Additionally due to my work experience in the veterinary clinics and volunteering in an animal shelter I have experience with many different behaviours and have learnt a lot of tricks that will ensure that your pet will feel safe and happy😊

Wonderful service provided by Zara - 2 weeks looking after our 5 year old cockapoo. A worry free 2 weeks for us knowing Zara was at our home looking after the dog with daily updates. Would highly recommend.
Zara was a fab cat-sitter for us when we went away for Christmas! Gave us plenty of updates and we felt very at ease knowing she was in good hands whilst we were away.
Zara is lovely. She came for a meet and greet beforehand and was very relaxed about my still-very-bouncy puppy Cass. She is clearly calm and confident around dogs and mine warmed to her straight away. For the drop-in she gave great feedback and photos and followed all instructions. Cass was super relaxed when we returned home so we know she’d been well looked after. Very highly recommended! Thanks Zara.

Zara was absolutely amazing with our puppy, Olive! From the moment they met, Olive was instantly comfortable and happy around her. Zara is super friendly and professional and its been a pleasure to get to know here. She kept us reassured with regular updates and photos while we were away. It was clear Olive was safe and well cared for. And after Zara left, Olive was definitely missing her new best friend! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We’ll 100% use Zara again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dogsitter.
Zara was the perfect dogsitter for our little Fig! She warmed to her straight away and we felt right at ease leaving her while she’s still just a pup. Couldn’t recommend Zara enough! 🥰

Schedule
I am a full time student so my weekends and evenings are free. My timetable varies each week however most days are usually half days so I also have the afternoons available. More info can be found on my calendar :)
