This is what I do everyday, so I am rather flexible but do have certain dogs and clients that I need to attend to. Otherwise, I am happy to take on your dog(s) and make them part of my pack!

Safety, trust & environment
I work with dogs everyday so I can help improve your dogs quality of life by helping them with my services. Dogs mean a lot to me and I want to do whatever is best for them, which is what motivated me to become a trainer. I treat them with lots of respect, but I also enforce boundaries, especially those that you want me to keep in mind.
Information Zane M. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know about any behavioral problems like food aggression, social reactivity, timidness, fear, runs away, separation anxiety, etc. The more I know about you, your dog and your situation, the more I can do with your dog. Any medical problems would also be vital to know.
A typical day
I love going to open spaces and some of the dog parks around town, especially for dogs who are able to be taken off leash. If you dog can’t be taken off leash, I try to change up our routes each time so the dog gets to see more and get familiar with new environments. I find it valuable to stimulate the dog based on their drives and temperament. Some dogs may just enjoy changing pace on a walk, while others may love to play a scent game, or do a competitive heel so I like to structure my days around what each dog needs in order to get the best out of our time together.

Pet care experience
I’ve always been a animal lover, especially dogs. I’ve been training dogs for five years now as my job, have been walking dogs regularly for three years now and I also have a degree in psycholog where I also took canine behavior and cognition classes. I can handle all sorts of dogs and behaviors, even many at one time. I often go hiking with my clients so that’s always an option as well. I like to take dogs in groups if possible since I see it as the most fulfilling for them with all the play, games, pack belonging and it’s a structure to practice good behavior and obedience. That being said, I’d be happy to accommodate to your needs. I’d love to help with your dog, please reach out if you want to talk about what I can do for your dog.

Zane really knows how to connect with your pet

Zane is friendly and reliable. Our cat loves him

Zane did a great job, was always on time and responsive to texts. He was able to accommodate us last minute over the holidays and was friendly. We’d recommend him!

Zane was wonderful! He is very caring and knows so much about dogs and their temperament. We are so grateful he was able to look after our babies.
