I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 16 and have experience with pups of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. Friends, family, and referrals have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their dogs both in their homes and mine. I make sure each dog gets the right mix of exercise, playtime, and snuggles — whether that’s a trip to the dog park, a long walk, or simply relaxing together. I understand how much dogs thrive on routine, so I always follow their schedule and give them the same affection and attention they would get from their family. My goal is to keep every tail wagging and every pup feeling safe, happy, and cared for. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of love. I also send photo updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Since I don’t have kids or other pets, your furry babies will always have my full attention and care.

Zakira was fantastic watching our dog, Bear, for a two-night stay at our house! She was super communicative and kept us updated the whole time, making it so easy to relax while we were away. Bear was clearly in great hands and well cared for. On top of that, Zakira went above and beyond by taking out the trash and stripping the bed sheets before leaving—things we didn't ask for or expect, but deeply appreciated! We would definitely recommend Zakira and look forward to booking her again.
Zakira was such a great house and dog sitter!! She took such great care of our pets and our home while we were away for about five days. She cleaned up things I didn’t even ask her to do and took out the trash and just went above and beyond in the sweetest ways. She shared pictures and notes for us to know that our doggies were well taken care of. We will absolutely be hiring her again in the future for drop-in visits as well as more housesitting if she’s available!

Schedule
I currently work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, but I have an hour lunch break from 12–1pm — perfect for stopping by to give your pets a potty break, some fresh air, and a little love. 🐾 After 5pm on weekdays, I’m available for sitting, walks, and cuddles. I don’t have kids, and after recently saying goodbye to my own beloved dog, I’d truly love the chance to give my care and attention to yours. ❤️ On some Fridays I’m off or finish early, and I’m also available for boarding after 5:30/6pm on Fridays and all day Saturday–Sunday. Your pets will be in caring, responsible hands, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away.
