I have been a pet care professional for over 15 years. As a veterinary technician, I helped treat pets under general practice, as well as cared for pets and families experiencing hospice. As a professional Dog Trainer, I have trained many successful service dogs for disabled handlers, taught owners important handling and relationship skills, and helped them achieve not only titles in sports, but also helped modify problem behaviors to help keep pets in their homes.

Zakary was a wonderful dog sitter. They communicated before my stay as well as during my stay. They took amazing photos of my dogs. They have a wonderful yard in the front of the house with obstacles for your dogs in a very safe gated area. I would absolutely use them again during my next trip in Gainesville. Oh, and they gave my dogs, home-cooked chicken and rice with my permission.
They were so nice and kept me updated on my cat consistently! I would definitely book with them again!
Zak helped take care of my pets for years, and is very knowledgeable about cats, dogs, and all sorts of animals big and small. I always feel relieved and secure knowing that Zak is watching them. I have owned German Shepherds, Huskies, and a Saint Bernard, and Zak was a great help in taking care of them while I was at work. When my German Shepherd was diagnosed with DM, Zak was able to help me care for him, and was later present for the difficult decision of him passing. All my dogs loved spending time with Zak and were super excited and happy during their interactions and playtimes, and I know that my pups are in the best hands! Zak responds quickly, is super flexible, and is willing to go the extra mile for you and your pups! Highly recommended, and I am very satisfied!
Zak is an incredible caregiver! He's taken care of my babies for me many times, and there's no one I'd trust more to do it. He is always careful to follow whatever instructions I leave, sends me picture updates, and genuinely seems to care for my animals as much as I do. He is so sweet and kind, respectful almost to a fault, and never gives me any reason to worry. I know when I leave my babies in his hands that they will be safe, loved, and taken care of.

Schedule
Pet care is my sole focus and source of income. Caring for your family and animals is my priority above everything else life has to offer. I have several clients every day as well as my own pets. My home has three pet rooms for your friend to stay if they need complete separation, as well as multiple safely fenced yard spaces. Additionally, our outdoor kennel is a safe space for livestock guardian dogs who may not want to come inside. We are able to care for almost any kind of animal, except for maybe a giraffe! 🦒

I am always careful to follow instructions. If I am not able to provide the service requested by the client and there is no way to make it work without compromising the quality of care, I am always transparent with the client. Pets under my wing receive competent, responsible, on-time care.
A typical day
Each day's routine depends on who is staying. Active pets receive tons of outdoor play as long as the weather is nice, and lower key pets usually get taken for off-leash pack walks on the fenced-in property. Meal, medication, and bed times are scheduled by the owner.
