Childless cat lady
I have taken care of cats for majority of my life. I have experience taking care of newborn kittens to senior cats. I know all about their feeds, treats, administering medicine, cleaning up litter tray and playtime. I have a lot of knowledge about cats so I’m equipped to deal with all matters. I also live 5 mins from the vets should there be an emergency. What sets me apart from others would be my love and passion surrounding cats. I truly do love taking care of them :)

I couldn’t recommend Zainab highly enough! She looked after Sousse for just over a week, and from the very beginning she was incredibly kind, friendly, and reassuring. As this was the first time I’d left Sousse with a stranger, I was naturally a little nervous, but Zainab immediately put my mind at ease. She was so easy to contact, answered all of my questions, and kept me updated throughout his stay. She picked Sousse up herself and was able to handle his travel anxiety so calmly and confidently. While he was with her, she genuinely looked after him as if he were her own. She sent me daily updates with lots of lovely pictures, which made such a difference and meant I could properly relax and enjoy my holiday knowing he was happy and well cared for. With the hot weather, she made sure he stayed cool with fans and plenty of water, and she also made sure he had lots of stimulation and attention. She even let him stay in her room so he could have plenty of company and feel comfortable. I instantly knew Sousse was in good hands, and I felt completely reassured while I was away. Zainab was also brilliant with his medication for the journey home and dropped him back to us herself. She is polite, warm, incredibly personable, and clearly has such a natural way with cats. Honestly, I think she was born to be a cat sitter! I can’t imagine leaving Sousse with anyone else now. Thank you so much, Zainab, for taking such wonderful care of our boy. We can’t wait to book another little holiday for Sousse with you again soon! 🐾❤️
Zainab was amazing! We had a previous bad experience but she reassured us and made us feel comfortable all the way. We got plenty of Poppy updates and our baby came home feeling happy and excited to have made friends. Thank you so much Zainab!
It was our first time leaving Jacko with a sitter so we were quite nervous but Zainab’s communication has been great- instantly responded to our request and sent updates and photos regularly throughout his stay. Jacko warmed to Zainab really quickly and I’m sure he would love to see her again.
It was Gigi and Waffles first time staying away from home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They settled in well and clearly enjoyed the stay. Zainab was very attentive and kept me updated several times a day with photos and messages, which was incredibly reassuring. I felt confident that Gigi and Waffle were receiving lots of care and attention. Thank you for making their first stay such a positive one! We will definitely be using you again :)
Django was well looked after during his stay with Zainab. She made sure he was comfortable and sent plenty of photos of him having a great time at her home. It was also very hot over the days she kept him and Zainab made sure Django was kept cool with a fan and plenty of water. Thanks for taking care of him. Would highly recommend

Schedule
I work remotely full time so I am always available to keep a cat company and take care of their needs. I have adjusted to my cats routines of being awake early and staying up late to feed them or clean their litter trays. I’m easily flexible so I can adjust to new routines with no problem!😌

Safety, trust & environment
⚠️Cats will remain indoors at all times. For majority of the stay, they will remain on the upstairs floor (mainly my room) and will be supervised if they wander around the house. My cats: The cat flap is microchipped and my cats are mostly outdoor kitties. They only come inside for food and sleep in the night. They all sleep in the living room downstairs so again they won’t interact with your cat. I have cared for several cats in my own home and this method works best. Although I am more than happy to adjust to any needs you or your fur baby might have. I have magnetic window screens in my room to keep the window open and so the cats can’t leave. Before each cat sitting I thoroughly clean my room of any scent of previous cats. I like to view my room as the cat’s airbnb so I make sure it’s all new and fresh smelling for the cat I’m sitting for 😄⚠️

A typical day
🧶A typical day of cat sitting starts with feeding, fresh water, and a quick check to make sure the cat’s happy and comfortable. I clean the litter box and spend a few minutes giving them some attention (whether that’s pets, brushing, or just hanging out nearby)!! During the day I like to play with them using toys like feather wands or laser pointers. I’ve noticed some cats love to run around, while others prefer just sitting in a sunny spot with company. Either way I try to match their vibe and keep things calm and familiar. At night, usually some quiet play or cuddle time, and making sure everything’s clean and cozy before I sleep. I try to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel safe and cared for. All throughout I make sure cat parents are updated with pics and vids!! 🧶
