I've been caring for my cat Finster, an orange tabby, since he was a kitten! He's now 11 years old and my very first pet. Through him I've learned how to read a cat's mood, respect their boundaries, and keep them comfortable and happy. I'm currently a master's student at Northwestern in downtown Chicago, and since I can't have Finster with me here (he's at home in California), I'm channeling all that love into caring for other people's cats. I'm patient, attentive, and will send you regular photo and text updates so you always know your kitty is in good hands.

For drop-ins and house visits, I treat your home with the utmost respect - keeping doors secured, following your specific instructions, and never rushing the visit. I'm attentive to signs of stress or unusual behavior and will always communicate anything out of the ordinary right away. You'll receive photo and text updates so you have peace of mind knowing that your cat is happy and relaxed.

Zainab was absolutely wonderful with our boy Gobbles! She was super communicative throughout the entire time, kept me updated, and made me feel completely reassured knowing he was in good hands. She was attentive, caring, and clearly made an effort to make him feel comfortable. Our cat was in love with Zainab from the second he met her, and though he usually gets sad when I’m away and takes a week to bounce back, with Zainab he was just his usual self upon my return! I would absolutely trust her with our cat again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and reliable sitter!
Zainab was fantastic! Highly communicative and detail-oriented in all of her updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was gone from my cats. They warmed up to her quickly and I’m sure they will be looking forward to next time :0)
Zainab was absolutely amazing with Goose, and I could not recommend her more highly! She was always punctual and consistently stayed longer than the two 30-minute visits we had scheduled each day. She spent plenty of time playing with Goose and keeping her company, and it was obvious from the photos and videos that Goose absolutely loved her. She even managed to get Goose to eat wet food while keeping her on her normal meal schedule, which is something I have been trying to accomplish for months! Zainab was also extremely communicative throughout the entire time I was away. She sent frequent photos, videos, and updates without me ever having to ask. Even when I had limited internet access or took longer to respond, she continued keeping me updated on her own, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I would 100% recommend Zainab to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitter. I would absolutely book with her again!
Zainab was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of my two cats and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She was great with communication and sent the sweetest pictures and videos throughout the weekend, which I really appreciated. I came home to two happy, well cared for girls! Schedule
As a master's student at Northwestern in downtown Chicago, my schedule is flexible and varies day to day, which means I can often accommodate drop-ins and visits at different times throughout the week. I'm not tied to a rigid 9-to-5, so I can work around your cat's routine rather than the other way around. I always communicate my availability clearly in advance so you know exactly when to expect me. Since I don't have a fur baby of my own here in Chicago, your cat will receive all of my love and attention!
