I’ve spent many years caring for cats, including my own cat Storm, who I raised from a kitten through to his senior years. This experience has given me confidence caring for cats of all ages, personalities, and needs. Storm is very playful and energetic, so I’m used to active cats who love attention and playtime. I’ve also cared for a friend’s shy cat named Fifi, which taught me how to adapt to different personalities and help nervous cats feel comfortable in their own time. I’m experienced with feeding routines, refreshing water, litter box cleaning, grooming, and creating a safe, cat friendly environment. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time cats and treat every cat as if they were my own, with patience, care, and plenty of affection.

I always prioritise creating a safe, calm, and clean environment for every cat I care for. As a previous cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to keep routines consistent and make sure cats feel secure, comfortable, and well looked after. For drop-in visits, I carefully follow all instructions provided, including feeding schedules, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, and spending quality time with your cat so they feel relaxed and not lonely while you’re away. I also provide regular updates with plenty of photos, so you can feel reassured and see how your cat is doing. For house sitting, I make sure your home is respected and kept tidy while following your cat’s routine closely so they feel comfortable in their own space. I’m also happy to bring in post, water plants, and keep an eye on your home while you’re away. Having cared for my own cat for many years, I understand that every cat has a different personality. Whether they’re playful and energetic or shy and cautious, I adapt my approach to help them feel safe and comfortable. I also offer a free meet and greet before any booking so you and your cat can get to know me, discuss routines, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before you travel. My goal is always to make cats feel safe, settled, and cared for as if they were my own.

Zainab is an excellent sitter! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services. She is a really lovely person, chatty and friendly with a natural affinity towards animals. Zainab looked after my 2 cats while we were away for 9 nights and gave great info on the visit feedback and photos too so we knew our pets were in safe hands. I was quite nervous about leaving my cat, Fifi, for the first time, but Zainab made the entire experience stress-free. From the start, she was incredibly kind, caring, and professional. She kept me updated regularly with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Fifi is naturally a very shy cat, but Zainab was so patient and attentive that she quickly made her feel comfortable and secure. She spent quality time playing with her, giving her plenty of cuddles, and ensuring she stayed happy and relaxed throughout my absence. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Fifi and treated her as if she were her own pet. Zainab also followed all routines perfectly, maintained a clean and safe environment, and even assisted with household duties when needed. Her reliability, attention to detail, and accommodating nature were exceptional. I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter and would highly recommend Zainab to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dedicated to caring for their pets.

Schedule
I’m currently in Year 13 and have just finished my exams, so I’m on summer holidays and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I’m also planning to take a gap year, which means I will continue to have a lot of availability going forward. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m able to be consistent with visits, feeding time, playtime, and any specific care needs your cat may have.
