Pet care is my full-time focus right now, so it's built into the rhythm of my whole day rather than squeezed in around something else. Mornings typically start with a walk, then check-ins or visits throughout the day depending on what each dog's routine calls for, feeding times, medication, playtime, whatever they're used to. Since I'm home most of the day, I have the flexibility to be consistent and responsive rather than working around a 9-to-5.

About zaffer h.

Safety, trust & environment

For drop-ins and walks, I follow your instructions closely: feeding times, walk routes, medication, anything specific to your dog's needs or quirks. For house sitting and overnight stays, I treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, keeping doors locked, sticking to your dog's normal schedule, and making sure they have consistent company rather than long stretches alone. I check in regularly and send photo or video updates so you always know how things are going, and if anything unexpected comes up, I contact you right away rather than guessing. I'm also comfortable with dogs that have behavioral issues or anxiety, from my time fostering and volunteering at shelters, so I pay attention to body language and adjust rather than push a dog past what they're comfortable with.

Information zaffer h. would like to know about your pet

Before a visit or stay, it's helpful for me to know: feeding schedule and amounts, any medications and how they're given, walking routine and leash behavior, and any behavioral quirks like reactivity, resource guarding, or anxiety triggers. I also want to know how your dog does with strangers coming into the home, whether they're crate trained, and any commands or cues they respond to. For house sitting or overnight stays, I'll also want basics like where supplies are kept, emergency vet contact info, and anything specific to your home (alarm codes, which doors to use, etc.). The more detail you give me upfront, the more I can keep things feeling normal and familiar for your dog while you're away.

A typical day

like to keep things centered on what your dog already enjoys rather than introducing a bunch of new stuff into their routine. That usually means walks adjusted to their pace and energy level, whether that's a relaxed sniff walk or a longer route to burn off energy. For playtime, I'm up for fetch, tug-of-war, hide and seek with treats, or just tossing a ball around the yard if there's space for it. If your dog is more of a cuddler, I'm just as happy doing belly rubs and low-key couch time. For dogs that like mental stimulation, I'm comfortable doing basic training reinforcement or puzzle toys and treat-dispensing games if you provide them. Mostly my approach is to follow your dog's lead: high-energy dogs get more active play like fetch or tug, older or more anxious dogs get calmer company and sniff walks. The goal is always to fit into what makes them happiest, not force a one-size-fits-all routine.

Calm, Reliable Pet Care

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm Zaffer. I do pet sitting full time which means I can give your dog real, undivided attention, not a rushed 15 minute drop-in squeezed between other commitments. I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting, and overnight stays at your home. I have hands-on experience with dog walking and pet sitting, and I'm comfortable with dogs of different energy levels and temperaments. I've fostered dogs with behavioral issues and volunteered at dog shelters, so I'm no stranger to nervous, reactive, or high-needs dogs. I know how to read a dog's body language and adjust rather than push. I'm calm, attentive, and take routine seriously. Feeding times, medication schedules, walk routes, and any quirks your dog has are things I'll follow exactly as you lay them out, not "close enough." Because I'm home for most of the day, I'm able to offer extended, low-stress visits or overnight stays where your dog stays in their own space, keeps their normal environment, and doesn't have to adjust to unfamiliar dogs or a new house. No boarding facility, no other pets, just your dog in their own home, on their own schedule. I check in regularly, I'm responsive to messages throughout the stay, and I send photo/video updates so you're never left wondering how things are going. Whether it's a quick walk, a few daily visits, or a longer overnight stay, my goal is to keep your dog's routine as close to normal as possible: same walks, same meals, same schedule, so the biggest thing that changes while you're away is who's holding the leash.
