When I care for pets in their own homes, I prioritize creating a familiar and comforting environment where they feel safe and secure. I follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, medication, or routines, ensuring that their daily habits remain consistent while their owners are away. Each pet is unique, so I tailor my care to their individual needs—whether it's taking a dog on daily walks, providing a cat with quiet companionship, or offering mental stimulation for a pet bird. In addition to meeting their physical needs, I make sure to engage them mentally and emotionally, offering plenty of playtime, attention, and affection to keep them happy and relaxed. I stay attuned to their personalities, so I know when they need extra comfort or when they're ready for some active fun. Being in their own homes means pets are in a familiar space, reducing any anxiety they might feel. I keep a watchful eye on their health, monitoring for any signs of discomfort or changes in behavior. Throughout the care process, I maintain open communication with the pet owners, providing updates and ensuring peace of mind. Above all, I treat each pet with compassion, respect, and love, making sure they feel like they're getting the attention and care they deserve while their family is away.

Are there any triggers (loud noises, certain objects, etc.) I should be aware of?
A typical day
When I dog sit, my goal is to make sure your pup has a fun, active, and safe day. Here’s how I usually spend the day with your dog: Morning: Welcome & Bonding: I start by greeting your dog with lots of love and attention. I want them to feel comfortable with me right away! Morning Walk: We go for a nice walk to burn off some energy and explore the neighborhood. Whether it's a quick stroll or a more active walk, I make sure they get moving and enjoy the fresh air. Breakfast: After the walk, I’ll feed your dog according to their usual routine and make sure they always have fresh water. Mid-Morning: Playtime: After breakfast, it’s time for some fun! We usually play a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or anything else your dog loves. I make sure to give them some exercise and mental stimulation. Puzzle Toys & Training: If your dog enjoys puzzles or treat-dispensing toys, I’ll give them one to keep them engaged. I can also do a quick training session to reinforce basic commands or teach them new tricks! Afternoon: Afternoon Walk or Adventure: After some playtime, we’ll go for another walk or maybe even take a short drive to a nearby dog-friendly park or café to switch things up. I love giving them new experiences, especially if they enjoy car rides. Social Time: If your dog is social, we might meet up with a friend’s dog for a playdate or visit a local dog park. Evening: Dinner & Relaxation: After a fun day, I’ll make sure your dog has dinner and plenty of water. Then it’s time to unwind—some dogs like a gentle belly rub or a cuddle session on the couch. Night Walk & Potty Break: Before bedtime, we’ll take a short walk or potty break to make sure your dog is comfortable for the night. Fun Activities I Do with Dogs: Fetch: A classic! Whether indoors or outside, fetch is always a hit. Tug-of-War: Great for bonding and burning energy. Hide & Seek: I like hiding treats or toys around the house or yard to give your dog a fun challenge. Training Sessions: Short training sessions to work on basic commands or teach fun new tricks! Throughout the day, I always keep an eye on your dog’s needs—whether it's getting enough rest, staying hydrated, or just getting extra cuddles. My priority is to make sure your dog has a blast while you're away!

Not quite sure what happened, but Zadey was a no show and never replied to me or customer service agents when we reached out.
This is the second time Zadey has watched our dogs and we will definitely use her again in the future!
