Zach was great with our elderly and slightly narcotic dog, going so far as to pick up some meds to help him manage his anxiety. I would highly recommend Zach to you for doggy care!
Zachery was great! Our pups seemed to love staying with him and his family. They got to interact with other pups, go the park, and learn to use a doggy door while staying with Zachery. My husband and I also greatly appreciated the regular updates and pictures of our pups while we were away. I highly recommend Zachery as a dog sitter.

On the first full day of our ten year old family dog being boarded with Zachery I received a call from an unknown caller saying he had found my dog on the side of Rt. 28. Miles and miles from Zachery’s house. Zachery knew she was missing for hours and never reached out to me. I eventually contacted him to tell him that she had been safely delivered to a neighbor of mine by the amazing Good Samaritan who found her. I had verbally informed Zachery at the meet and greet that my dog had an AirTag on her collar in case anything happened. Had he called me when he noticed her missing I could have directed him right to her. I stressed during the meet and greet before my dog’s stay that, like all dog owners boarding their dog, my biggest fear would be her getting out and trying to come find us. I told Zachery that the fence in his backyard looked quite low, even though my dog had never jumped a fence or run away. He assured me that he would never leave her unattended or off-leash while in the backyard or outside. But his explanation of how she got out was that he had left the downstairs back door open for her to access the fenced in backyard while he was upstairs. Having just landed in another state, still in the airport, getting this call was horrifying and scary to say the least. Zachery was very sorry and apologetic, but did not seem to want to accept any responsibility for my dog being able to get out so easily. He told me that I should have noted on the app that my dog had a history of jumping fences (she doesn’t - she’s never jumped a fence before this) and that I should have indicated the AirTag there (which is fair - I should have, though I did tell him verbally). My family and I were so relieved to see our dog safe at home upon our return. I am just glad that she didn’t get hit by a car and grateful that some kind hearted stranger found her and brought her home safely. I would not trust Zachery with the care of my dog again. And from one dog owner to another, I would not trust Zachery with yours.
Zachery took really good care of my 10 year old lab. Highly recommend!
