My family has always had dogs around, and growing up, I naturally took on a lot of the care over the years. This was not out of obligation, but because of the bonds I'd built with them. That foundation grew into a love for all animals, and hands-on experience looking after dogs and cats for friends and family; whether for a weekend or an extended vacation. I've also brought my dogs along on hikes and camping trips, so I'm quite comfortable caring for pets in a variety of environments, not just at home :)

Safety, trust & environment
I take the safety and comfort of every pet seriously. I am currently unable to provide care in my own home; however, I am more than willing to stay overnight at your home if requested. Before any booking, I'm happy to arrange a meet-and-greet in a neutral public space so you and your pet can get comfortable with me beforehand! During care, I will also keep my location services on so you can check in on walks at any time. Additionally, I will send pictures and/or videos throughout my stay so you are always kept up to date! I won't take dogs to dog parks or allow unplanned interactions with other animals unless you've specifically asked for that. I also make it a habit to walk through the space and clear any potential hazards, such as cleaning supplies, loose cords, anything within reach that shouldn't be. I fully understand leaving your pet in the hands of a stranger can be stressful, which is why I try my best to alleviate as much of that as possible so you, and your pet, can enjoy your time away.

Zachary is very responsive, cared about our pets and sent photos and videos to show his building relationship with them and it made my wife and I feel so relieved and happy our dog and 2 cats were well looked after. We came back to a sparkling clean house, happy well-fed and cared for pets, and we highly recommend him!
Highly recommend Zachary! He has a kind, gentle and loving spirit, and truly cares for every animal like his own. He is professional, attentive and someone I trust completely with any pet.
Zach came into our home to care for our two more senior cats. He was very attentive to their unique personalities and needs. One cat requires raw food twice a day and the other has some trust issues. They are quite the pair! Zach excelled at taking care our fur babies, gained their love and had respect for our home. I highly recommend Zach for your pets and home .
Zachary took the best care of both our dogs. (Sheppard and Golden ) He showed them attention, took them for long walks and even gave them a bath. Our dogs were happy and settled when we got back home. I highly recommend Zachary if you are looking for a responsible, loving pet sitter. He will quickly become their favourite person.

Your pets' care is my priority! I will deliberately keep my day(s) clear so the pet gets consistent attention, proper walks, and company throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches.
