Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first — I only take a limited number of dogs so each one gets calm attention and a stress-free environment. I keep routines consistent with regular walks, feeding schedules, and quiet downtime so your dog feels secure while you’re away. You’ll receive photo updates and short notes during every stay or walk so you always know how your dog is doing. My home is clean, quiet, and dog-friendly with space to relax after walks and playtime. Every dog has a different personality, and I take the time to learn what helps them feel comfortable — whether that’s exploring outside or simply having a calm place to nap.

Hi! I’m Zach, a lifelong dog lover and experienced caretaker who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I’m currently working remotely and building a design consulting practice, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to dog walking, drop-ins, and boarding. I love getting outside for long walks, staying active, and making sure dogs feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I approach pet care the same way I approach everything else in life: with attention, consistency, and respect for routines. Whether your dog needs a calm walk, some playtime and exercise, or just a reliable check-in and company during the day, I’m happy to help. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and keep you updated with photos and notes so you know your pup is doing well. I’ve spent most of my life around dogs and have always been the person friends and neighbors ask to help when they’re traveling or need an extra hand. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Some dogs want long walks and playtime, others just want calm companionship and consistency. I’m happy to meet them where they are. When caring for a dog, I focus on a few things that really matter: safety, routine, and communication. I follow feeding and walking instructions closely, pay attention to behavior changes, and make sure dogs get the exercise, stimulation, and rest they need. I’m also very aware that every dog has their own quirks and preferences. Some are social, some are cautious, some are high-energy explorers. I take the time to learn what makes each dog comfortable so their time away from their owner feels as stress-free as possible. You can expect clear updates, photos, and quick communication while your dog is with me. I treat every dog like they’re someone’s family member — because they are.

Zach was amazing with Ms. Bella while I was away. This was the first time I had left her for an extended period since she became blind, so I was naturally very nervous, but Zach made me feel completely at ease. He kept me updated daily, sent plenty of pictures, and gave her so much love and attention. It was clear Ms. Bella really enjoyed her time with him, and I'm grateful for the care he provided.
Zach was amazing again!! This was our second time using him to house sit our pup while we were out of town. He's very easy to work with, professional, and a good communicator. He took amazing care of our dog, and left our house cleaner than when we left! He is very patient and good at understanding what your dog needs and providing that. Our pup is leash aggressive, and Zach was very patient with him, following our training instructions, and putting him in the best situation to succeed in his walks. Can't recommend Zach enough!!!!! He's the best!!!
Zach was AMAZING!!!! BEST DOG SITTER IN INDY!!! He did a great job dog sitting our leash aggressive and chaotic dog while we were gone for a week. He is very patient, kind, and positive which our dog reacted to SO WELL!! His dog Mossimo joined for the stay, and the two pups got along so well, becoming besties by the end of day 1! The dogs met at the meet & greet, to make sure they got along, and they immediately started playing and having fun together. Zach did a great job keeping us updated with everything during the stay with a daily check in with some adorable photos!! Lots of yard time and long walks, so we got home to a very happy and tired pup! He also left our house spotless with everything as we left it, if not cleaner than we left it. Already booking Zach for our future trips, 100% recommend!!
