My personal philosophy when entering someone’s home is to protect their privacy and provide peace of mind that their pets and home are in good hands. I focus on the small details that build trust—following lighting instructions (turning lights off, or leaving a porch light on if requested), returning keys exactly where they were found, and double-checking that faucets are fully off before I leave.
