I’ve cared for animals my entire life and have 13 years of adult experience through housekeeping, nannying, and in-home care work. I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and small pets, and I’m experienced with pets that have unique routines, personalities, or care instructions. I grew up around many different animals and have personally cared for pets with a wide range of temperaments and needs. I’m patient, observant, and take the time to understand each animal’s routine and comfort level before jumping in. Because of my housekeeping and assistant background, I’m also very comfortable being responsible in someone’s home. I can follow detailed care instructions, keep things tidy, manage feeding schedules, handle walks or drop-ins, water plants, and help pets feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. My biggest strength is that I genuinely love animals and treat them with patience and respect. Whether your pet is social, shy, energetic, elderly, or very particular about their routine, I’ll take the time to make sure they feel cared for and understood.

I care for pets by first learning their routine, personality, boundaries, and safety needs. I follow instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, check food and water, clean up after pets, and pay attention to any changes in behavior. In a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and keep things tidy. I’m comfortable with detailed care notes, multiple pets, shy animals, and pets that need specific routines or environmental care.
Ratings and reviews
Zach frequently gave us updates on the dog, and I could tell he was happy and well taken care of. We came back to a house cleaner than when we left it, and one of our neighbors even texted us to say how pleasant Zach was! He even did some work in our yard! Zach was also super accommodating with some last minute schedule changes, and came over two separate times before his stay to meet with the dog. I would definitely recommend Zachary for longer stays or dogs with higher needs!
As always, Zach is the absolute best! We set this up on pretty sorry notice, but Zach was super accommodating and always stress our mind totally at ease! We wouldn't ever want to hire anyone else!
Zach was awesome! He even drew pictures of our pets! I don't think Zac even realizes how much he came in the clutch for us. He watched our 3 dogs and newly foster failed cat with ease. Sent updates every day and also left our house so clean. Our pets got all the love and care they deserved. I would 100% work with Zach again. He's a life saver.
We rank Zach as #1 for housesitting, dog and cat care. Absolutely prefect! Even our reactive dogs immediately felt comfortable with him. They were instantly comfortable and warm. When we came home, they had zero signs of stress, just relaxed happiness. Our cat usually won't come out for visitors at all, just hides in the basement. She was out purring around Zach almost immediately. Must be an aura of something. Great, twice daily communication. 100% reliable. Incredible value for money. We're booking him for our next trip away right now!
I had Zac take care of my dogs and home a few times. He was reliable, kept everything tidy, and I felt at ease knowing my belongings were safe! We’ve cut back since my dog passed, but he still helps with housekeeping from time to time. Couldn’t recommend somebody more!

Schedule
I work full time as an online content creator, so my schedule is flexible and pet care fits naturally into my week. I’m looking to spend more time out of the house doing work I genuinely enjoy, and caring for animals is something I’m very comfortable with. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, feeding routines, plant care, and general home check-ins depending on the client’s needs. I’m able to follow a consistent routine and communicate clearly so owners know their pets and home are being cared for properly.
