Availability
I am a recent graduate student from the UW doing volunteer work at the moment. I really enjoy spending time with pets so this seemed a natural fit. As such, I have a pretty flexible schedule and am often available for last-minute pet care emergency needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Aside from following all instruction for potty breaks, exercise, and feeding provided by the client, I just love spending time with animals. Be that taking a bit longer on a walk to sniff every bush or spending a few minutes spinning a feather on a stick after a drop-in.
Information Zachary D. would like to know about your pet
I will always ask for details on your dog's friendliness around people and other dogs and whether it is okay for them to say 'hi' to fellow dogs.
A typical day
My da always said that the fire hydrant is basically a dogs' social media so he always lets Picklz and Oswald (our dogs) sniff all they want because it would be cruel to rob them of that. So I always let dogs take their time on walks, letting them set the pace and sometimes direction I trust them. For cats I usually just give them pets when they ask and twirl the feathered stick if they seem playful.

Pet care experience
I have cared for my own dog, Mr. Picklz, since he was rescued by my neighbor. He is anxious around strangers which has helped me to learn properly how to introduce pets to myself and to others. Additionally, my experience caring for friends' and neighbors' dogs throughout the years has made me sensitive to their needs at various ages and personalities.

Reviews

Zachary was such a great pet sitter for our 3 year old dog! We loved all the pictures we received and it was so great to come back to a happy pup and a clean house. Would highly recommend Zachary!

Zachary was excellent! He and Raiden were quick friends. He provided great peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommended.

Zachary was great with our anxious dog fig! He seemed very comfortable with Zach and happy when I came home.
Zachary was great! If I continue to need a dog walker and he is available, I will use him every time.
