I've been pet sitting since I was a young child, including my own pets, and shortly thereafter, neighbors and friends.. I began training dogs in 2014 at Petsmart and trained pet parents and pets to decrease negative behavior such as chewing, biting, jumping, and barking. For the past seven years I have worked at a high occupancy county shelter, where I became one of the founding team members of our enrichment program. Recently I took a job at Orange County Animal Services. Ensuring animals get the proper care they deserve is one of the forces that drives me to work at a shelter. I’ve worked with a wide variety of animals in my 10 years of professional career, which has made me feel comfortable handling many different breeds, temperaments. I recognize that each animal has specific needs and comfort levels and am confident in my ability to connect with animals and help them feel safe and secure while caring for them. Should your dog or cat need daily medicine, I am trained in administering medications and would be happy to do so as needed. Additionally, I have completed more than 20 training webinars on various topics, including topics such as Understanding Canine Communication, Safety in the Veterinary Workplace, and Animal Enrichment Best Practices.
