Pet care experience

A home away from home for your pet!

Hi! We’re Zach and Kennedy, a husband and wife team who love welcoming dogs into our home. We care for our Rover guests together, so you may communicate and interact with either of us throughout your pup’s stay! We both work from home, which means we’re around throughout the day to provide plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, and company. We share our home with our two young children and our own dog, so we’re especially happy to welcome pups who are comfortable in a family environment. We know how important it is to feel comfortable with the people caring for your dog, and our goal is to provide a safe, attentive, and loving home away from home. Whether your pup is joining us for daycare or an overnight stay, they’ll receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and care tailored to their individual needs and routine. With two of us home and involved in caring for our guests, your pup gets lots of company and attention throughout their stay. We want them to feel like part of the family while they’re here, and we want you to feel comfortable knowing exactly who they’re staying with.

Doggy Day Care • Jul 23, 2026

Zach took great care of Callie. We were able to visit the area with no worries knowing she was in good hands. We were even able to fit in an extra day because Zach was so accommodating. Would definitely book with Zach when we are visiting the area again.

Our Bree seemed to be very happy with Zach and family. He took her out a few times and she had playtime, which is important for her with all of her energy. Thank you so much, Zach.

Schedule

We both work from home, so one or both of us is typically home throughout the day. This gives us plenty of flexibility for potty breaks, meals, playtime, attention, and keeping up with your dog’s normal routine. Because we care for our Rover guests together, your pup will have two people looking out for them throughout their stay!

Safety, trust & environment

We want every dog in our care to feel safe and comfortable in our home. We have two young children and a dog of our own, so the safety of everyone in our home, including your pup, is our priority. We follow each owner’s care instructions closely and are happy to accommodate your dog’s normal feeding, potty, sleeping, and crate routines. We also believe good communication is important and ask that owners be upfront about their dog’s temperament, behavior, and needs so we can provide the best and safest care possible.

Pets

A typical day

Every pup is different, so we try to make their day with us feel as close to their normal routine as possible! Since we both work from home, dogs have plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Depending on your dog’s energy level and preferences, we’re happy to spend time playing, relaxing, exploring outside, or simply keeping them company. Between activities, they’ll also have plenty of opportunity to rest and decompress.

Zach can host up to 3 pets per night
Before booking, please tell us about your dog’s typical temperament and routine, including how they interact with young children and other dogs. We’d also love to know the commands and cues your dog is familiar with (such as sit, stay, come, down, off, leave it, crate/kennel, or any specific potty cues) so we can communicate with them consistently while they’re in our care. Please let us know about any history of escaping, destructive behavior, aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, excessive barking, or difficulty being crated or left alone. We also need to know about any medications, allergies, special needs, or other behaviors that may affect their stay. We’re happy to accommodate different personalities and needs; we just ask that you be as thorough and honest as possible so we know what to expect, can maintain the routines and boundaries your dog already understands, and can keep everyone safe and comfortable.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
