Animal love and care all in one!

Pet care experience

My passion and life has always involved animals. That love has led me to animal medicine where I've worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician for the past 5 years. I've always owned animals, and currently have two dogs of my own. Your pets are deeply rooted in family. The care they receive should always reflect that and with me, they will always be in good hands.

Zach is AWESOME! He has a genuine passion for pets. He is dependable, trustworthy and thorough. My two German Shepherds loved Zach and we will absolutely be using his services again.

Zach did an outstanding job of walking my 2 mini schnauzers while I was recovering from unexpected surgery. I had adopted both dogs less than 4 months prior to surgery; both were breeder surrenders that were not well socialized and were still adjusting their new life/environment. It was clear from the meet and greet that Zach has much experience in interacting with and handling dogs. Both dogs quickly became comfortable with Zach and responded well to him. While walking he worked with them on being calm when seeing humans and other dogs. I was able to observe parts of the walks and both dogs were walking along with him as they would have if walking with me. Zach was an excellent communicator. He walked my dogs multiple times a day - he was always on time, he was never late. Zach was a blessing to me and my dogs during a challenging time. He is an excellent dog walker. I will be using him for my future dog care needs. I highly recommend Zach for dog walking/care.

Zach was kind enough to fill in for me while my regular walker was on vacation. Took his time to make sure my big 85lb skittish girl was comfortable with him and met her several times before I actually needed her walked. I would definitely recommend him!

Safety, trust & environment

I always spend time with your loved ones when taking care of them in their home environment. It's not just about feeding, watering, walking, giving medications or letting them out to use the restroom. It's about the time and love you give them during all this. Anyone can feed and walk them, but I want to dedicate time to giving them the affection and company they desire when their loved ones are away. I do all of this and more because I am comfortable with the care needed for any animal.

Information Zach D. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your loved one has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. The safety of your pet is important to me and understanding these things help me prepare a safe and positive environment for your loved one to succeed and have a fun and relaxing time.

A typical day

I'm a big advocate for getting up and about for a good walk around the neighborhood and some quality play time. I travel with my dogs all the time, so having a backseat prepared for dogs is always prime for visits to the park or other adventurous places that are okayed by the owner. Just as important as activity time is quality time relaxing. A lot of dogs love getting cuddles, pets, and naps and having that kind of quality time with these kiddos is also just as important. I'm geared for all of it.

I currently work on a 3 to 4 day schedule full-time at the animal clinic I am currently employed at. There are always two to three days during the week and weekend which will be free for caring for your loved ones. I also have the knowledge of my work schedule months in advance, so preparing for days or weeks with your loved ones will be easy to schedule and plan for.
