A typical day
Being born and raised in Pittsburgh, I know all the good trails and parks in the area. I love walking the trails and being in nature and giving the dogs I care for the opportunity to sniff and exercise. I'm also down for a game of fetch in the yard!

I have a five year old cavapoo named Darla who is my best friend and light of my life. So I understand first hand that dogs aren't just animals, they are family members. In addition to raising my dog since she was 8 weeks old, I was a level 3 dog walker for The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) until I moved back to Pittsburgh. I have completed an average of 60 hours of dog walking a year during my three years volunteering at BARCS. I walked dogs of all breeds and sizes. I also helped walk and care for dogs in the medical unit who needed special accommodations.
