I work full time outside the home during the weekdays and am away for about 8 hours. Because of this, I’m best suited for dogs who are comfortable being alone during the day and don’t have separation anxiety. Evenings and weekends, I’m fully available for quality time, walks, play, and snuggles. My weekends are completely open, so your dog will get my full attention and care then. I maintain a calm, structured home with a consistent routine to help pets feel secure and relaxed. If your dog is independent and just needs a safe, loving space to hang out while you’re away, I’d be a great fit!

Whether it's lounging on a cozy bed, enjoying a quiet space, or exploring during supervised time outside, I make sure they feel at ease. I follow any feeding, medication, and walking routines you provide to keep things consistent for your pet. While I’m away at work during the day, your dog will have a peaceful, secure environment to rest in. Evenings and weekends are all about attention, affection, and play. I genuinely love caring for dogs and treat each one with patience, kindness, and respect—just like I would my own. Their comfort and well-being are always my top priorities.

To make sure your dog feels comfortable and happy in my care, I always like to know a few important things ahead of time: What does your dog enjoy? Do they love long walks, quiet naps, belly rubs, or playing with toys? Do they have any special behaviors or quirks? Knowing if they’re shy, protective, energetic, or easily startled helps me care for them the right way. Are there things they don’t like? (Vacuum sounds, certain other dogs, being touched in certain areas, etc.) Feeding schedule, routines, and any medications How do they do being alone for a few hours? Since I work during the day, this is especially helpful. Do they get along with other dogs? (If relevant) The more I know about your dog’s personality, habits, and needs, the better I can make their stay feel just like home.

A typical day in my home is calm, structured, and full of care. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and a little playtime or snuggles before I head out for work. While I’m away, your dog will have a safe, quiet space to relax—perfect for independent pups who enjoy downtime during the day. Evenings are all about attention and fun! After I return home, we’ll go for a nice walk, enjoy some outdoor time if the weather is nice, and of course, plenty of love and belly rubs. I follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel at home. On weekends, I’m fully available for more interactive time—longer walks, play sessions, puzzle toys, or just hanging out together. Whether your dog loves fetch or simply curling up for a nap nearby, I’ll make sure they get the companionship and care they need.

Your dog will be treated like family—with plenty of snuggles, fresh water, walks, and regular check-ins to give you peace of mind. I also live close (10 minutes) to YEG for easy drop off and pick up
