Hello! My name is Yvonne and I live in Amsterdam with my partner Mark and our lovely, calm greyhound Mary. I’m an early years teacher and Mark works in finance. We were previously caring for pets on Rover in Glasgow and now that we have moved to Amsterdam, we are delighted we can keep caring for the local fluffs. We have been caring for dogs and cats for over 20 years and truly adore animals. We are experienced with different temperaments and needs. In Glasgow we cared for 30 different dogs during our time on rover there, including senior dogs and puppies. Our home is relaxed, loving, and very pet-friendly — pets are welcome everywhere, including the sofa and beds. Your pet will be treated as part of the family and given plenty of attention, affection, and care while you’re away.

We had a great experience from the beginning. We did a meet and greet to ensure that our dog got along with them and their dog. When leaving Luna for her overnight stay, we were invited to spend some time with them to see how well Luna got along with their dog. The entire time we received updates and videos. Upon return Luna looked very calm and it was clear she had a great time! We will for sure be leaving Luna with Yvonne again!
Yvonne was so great. She sent us regular photos and was super responsive. She was also super flexible with our schedule and worked around our schedule. Would definitely recommend and book again!
Yvonne and Mark were amazingly attentive to my little Daphne who can sometimes take a while to warm up. They sent me constant updates, and showed as much love and compassion to my dog as if she was their own! I will definitely be rebooking. Thanks so much for the wonderful service and care 🐾

Schedule
I teach during the week and am home from Saturday to Monday. My partner Mark works in finance and is home all week except the odd Wednesday, so there is almost always someone around. This means your dog will never be left alone and will enjoy lots of company, regular walks, and a steady routine.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a large, cosy apartment with a secure garden, and dogs have full access to the home. Safety, comfort, and emotional wellbeing are my top priorities. We’re located in a quiet area with easy 5 minute access to Vondelpark and Rembrandtpark, which is perfect for relaxed walks, sniffing, and gentle exercise. I’m very mindful of each dog’s individual needs, energy levels, and routines, and I always follow owners’ instructions closely.

A typical day
A typical day includes: • Calm morning and afternoon walks (often in or near Rembrandtpark) • Plenty of rest and cuddles at home • Indoor enrichment like snuffle mats and treat toys • Time in the garden for fresh air and relaxing • A peaceful, low-stress environment with lots of reassurance I’m very happy to adapt the day to suit your loved one, if they’re playful, anxious, energetic, or more of a couch potato (like our Mary) :)
