My weekend availability is very open. On weekdays Mondays-Fridays it varies, since I do work in healthcare. I am available before 8am and after 5pm weekdays, but feel free to ask for specific availability if you need a pet sitter/drop in visits, as I can be flexible sometimes! I look forward to meeting you and your pet! :)

I always make sure to prioritize the safety and comfort of your pet. Your pet will be supervised and if there is anything specific your pet or you need from me, please do not hesitate to ask. My job is to provide the best experience for you and your pet. As a pet parent myself, I know it can be difficult to leave your fur baby under the care of another person, and I dedicate myself to making you feel at ease knowing your canine or feline will be well taken care of! I like to know as much information about each pet to create a loving, safe, and trusting environment for each furry friend.

Please let me know if your dog or cat has any special needs or special preferences. I am more than happy to make adjustments as needed for each animal as they are all different, my goal is to provide an easy, stress-free experience for your pet and you! Please let me know in advance if your pet has any aggression towards other animals, as I can monitor closely that they are kept safe and comfortable both outdoors & indoors. I would also like to know about any allergies in case I can provide any treats during our time together!
A typical day
I love to take dogs into the outdoors to be stimulated and have the opportunity to go on nice long walks around the community where they can explore smells and even make new friends (as long as they are social). For the pups who enjoy spending time alone and prefer human interaction and interactive play, I can keep them busy by playing with their favorite toys. For the pups that enjoy more relaxation, I love to snuggle and create a peaceful environment where they can feel free to lay on my lap, have back scratches and belly rubs! I also have lots of experience with dogs who have separation anxiety. My senior pup, Oreo gets overwhelmed with new people, children, and distressed when he is not by my side. For the pups that are similar to Oreo, I can offer distractions to relieve their anxiety like a soothing show on Dog TV that can attract their attention, familiar toys, tasty treats, and calm walks to relieve some of their stress.

Pet care experience
I have had experience with many different types of breeds and ages. I have seen it all! I have grown up with dogs and have experience with rescue/ shelter pups. Fun fact: I have leash-trained all of our family dogs ranging from 11-70lbs, assisted in potty training, and in January 2025 I began working as a part-time veterinary assistant! Since about age 17, I have volunteered at my local dog shelter in my spare time and helped friends and family bathe, feed, and walk their pets! I have a sweet spot for senior dogs; I have one of my own (Oreo) who is very spoiled with love and treats!

I came back home excited to see my kitties and found water fountain empty, litter boxes not cleaned, and towels in my bathroom soaking wet?? Didn’t receive a message or notification of what I would find and didn’t get many frequent updates. Won’t be requesting Yvette again. Very disappointed.
Yvette (Ruby) was amazing while I was away! She was kind, considerate, and incredibly trustworthy — exactly the kind of person you hope to find to care for your pets. She took such great care of my puppy and kept me updated throughout, which gave me total peace of mind. What really stood out was her energy — calm, positive, and super caring. Even my cat, who is usually shy and doesn’t warm up to many people, came out and felt completely comfortable around her. That alone says a lot! I’m so grateful I found Ruby, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a truly thoughtful and dependable sitter.
Yvette was wonderful with our 3 dogs, 2 of which are puppies. Our dogs took to her right away, and my husband and I felt comfortable leaving them in her care after our initial meeting. Yvette sent us updates and photos throughout the evening, which we really appreciated - she is a gem!
