I booked Yuri to watch my dog, Bentley, for 3-4 hours while I ran some errands with my partner. Bentley has separation anxiety and we have only worked up to him being alone for 20min. I made sure to explain this to Yuri. I also explained that Bentley gets very hot under the sun really quickly. Before dropping Bentley off, I already took him on a hike to tire him out and told Yuri that he should be pretty tired and will not need additional exercise during his stay with her. At drop off, I told her that we would be close by and to let me know if there are any problems. Shortly afterwards (about 15-20min after drop off),I received a few pictures and a short video of Bentley. I received no other updates after these. After 3.5hrs, I messaged her that I would be on my way to pick Bentley up. She responded that she stepped “out a little bit” and would be back in an hour due to a friend getting a flat tire. At this point, I was a bit upset because she never communicated with me that she left my dog alone. I booked with her with the understanding that she would be with him throughout his stay. I understand that emergencies pop up, but I had already told her that we were close by. I don’t understand why she couldn’t communicate the fact that she had to leave my dog alone for any amount of time knowing that he has really bad separation anxiety. Fortunately, after about 30min, she let me know that she was on her way home. When she arrived, she quickly brought him out to us and I expressed my unease about the entire situation. She apologized and proceeded to tell us how well Bentley did during his stay and that he didn’t cry at all. She also let it slip that Bentley was left outside in the backyard and added that it was “shaded”. I explained that my dog gets overheated quickly…why would you leave him outside on a sunny day? Overall, I’m unhappy with the lack of communication. So many wrong things could have happened. I don’t want to add any assumptions in this review, but I can’t help but question the quality of care Bentley received under Yuri’s watch. Fortunately, my dog is home and safe. However, I will not be using Yuri’s services again.

It's always great boarding with Yuri. Sam was happy, had company and loads of exercise and loads of fun. :)

Yuri was an amazing dog sitter. My dog had a great time there with Yuri’s little Frenchie. Communication was super easy and she sent updates daily. Would highly recommend.

Yuri was great! Jynx and a lot of fun and was well taken care of.

Yuri took care of our one year old small dog for about three hours while we were out at a party. She was able to accommodate our reservation at the last minute and was very quick to respond about it. It was easy to get her to understand any special needs for our dog. Even during the short period of care, she sent us pictures to keep us updated. Would definitely use her services again!
