Hi there, I’m Emily! I’m currently pursuing my graduate studies at the University of Washington and plan to stay in Seattle long-term. I have a stable lifestyle and a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. I have over 3 years of hands-on cat care experience and 1 year of pet sitting experience. At home, I have an American Shorthair cat with a very gentle personality who is extremely friendly toward other cats and experienced in living in a multi-cat household. I currently live with my family in a spacious two-story house with a backyard. Your cat can have their own private room and plenty of space to play, relax, and feel comfortable during their stay. Since my own cat was adopted from a shelter when he was only one month old, I’m especially experienced with caring for both young kittens and adult cats. I understand how to provide patient, attentive care based on each cat’s personality and needs. Caring for animals is not just a responsibility to me—it is something I genuinely enjoy and value! Emily was extremely caring and went above and beyond by spending a lot of extra time with Luna so she wouldn't be lonely. The communication was excellent—we received consistent updates and adorable photos the entire time. We felt completely at ease knowing Luna was in such loving hands. Yumeng is an amazing cat sitter — I couldn’t have asked for better care for Hoohoo over the 5 days she watched him. She sent detailed daily updates with really nice photos and videos that always reassured me and kept me in the loop. She clearly knows cats and is genuinely attentive. She spent quality time playing with Hoohoo, kept everything clean (including cleaning up poops), and made sure he was well-fed with his wet food. She even noticed and handled a hair knot and carefully helped cut it out, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, Hoohoo absolutely loved her — he purred every time he saw Yumeng, which says it all. I’m very grateful for everything she did and will definitely work with her again next time. Highly recommend!
Emily provided drop-in visits for my cat Sammy and exceeded all my expectations. My cat requires antibiotics, which can be a challenge, but Emily was incredibly diligent and made sure every dose was taken. I especially appreciated her detailed updates, she kept me informed on everything from appetite to bathroom habits. It’s clear she is very detail-oriented and truly cares about the well-being of the animals she watches. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in such capable hands! I’ll definitely be booking her again!

This is my second time book with Yumeng, good as usual! My cat warmed up to her very quickly, which says a lot. I think my cat spent a great time with her! She is very careful and patient. I received a lot of pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind! Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am available to work from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM everyday and can easily accommodate last-minute requests, extended care hours, or recurring schedules! Very flexible!

Since I got three cats at home, for the health and safety of both your pets and my own cats at home, please proof that your pets are fully vaccinated~ For drop-in visit, I wear disposable gloves, a mask, and shoe covers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. I treat every home and pet with great respect and care. I’ll follow every instructions you provide, give the best care to your pets!
