Cats and small animals are my absolute focus. I have been surrounded by felines my entire life. My first cat was with me for two wonderful years and my second beloved cat lived a long, happy life of 19 years. This experience with a senior cat taught me how to care for older pets, understand their health needs, monitor their well-being and provide a calm environment. I also have unique skills in "exotic" pet care as I have been successfully keeping and caring for pet snails since 2020. I know exactly how to maintain their habitat, handle correct humidity levels and manage their specific diet. When handling shy, anxious or stressed cats, I use a gentle and patient approach. I never force interaction, avoid direct eye contact initially and let them approach me at their own pace. For anxious or hiding cats, I often sit quietly on the floor near them and offer treats to build trust without invading their personal space. I am very responsible and I know how to give a timid pet time to feel safe around me.
