About Us Hi! I’m Yulia, and my husband Ken and I offer loving, in-home dog boarding in a quiet, safe neighborhood near Pentagon City / Crystal City, just about a mile from DCA. We live in a house with a fully fenced 1/5-acre yard, giving dogs plenty of space to run, play, and relax. We both grew up with dogs and truly enjoy having them in our home. Since we don’t currently have a dog of our own, we love being able to give our full attention to the pups we host. We’re home during the day and provide full-time supervision, so your dog will get lots of companionship, playtime, and care.

Yulia is a true professional — responsive, thorough and thoughtful. She takes great care in ensuring your dog is safe with the other dogs under her care. Our dog clearly enjoys her time there and gets plenty of exercise and play time. We always feel confident leaving our dog with Yulia.

Yulia is excellent — she’s a professional dog sitter with secure indoor and outdoor spaces for your pooch. She’s highly responsive, responsible and detail oriented when it comes to instructions and what your dog’s needs are. While we were away, she sent us multiple photos daily that showed our dog running and playing happily with the others. We plan to use her again and recommend her highly.
Ringo had a great time at Yulia and Ken’s, playing with the other dogs at their day camp! They are very attentive to the dogs and sent videos and pictures during the day to let me know how Ringo was doing.
Yulia did an outstanding job taking care of our Siberian Husky. Will go back in a heartbeat.

Screening We host multiple dogs at a time, so it is critically important for prospective dogs to be well-behaved, not bark excessively, and be friendly to other dogs. They can be more social or shy, more energetic or chill - we can adapt their boarding to their needs. To ensure the safety and happiness of all our guests, we require that all dogs participate in a meet-and-greet before boarding. We do this to ensure our environment is a good fit for your dog, and that the home-away-from-home experience will be a fun adventure. Please contact us to set up a time for a 20-minute meeting so that your dog gets familiar with the environment and we can answer any questions you might have. Depending on the dog's behavior during the meeting, we may request a trial daycare before an overnight stay. We only accept unfixed dogs until 6 months to 1 year of age, depending on the breed. We are primarily crate-free, but are happy to provide crating if your dog is more comfortable in their crate at bedtime. Current vaccination records need to be on file for your dog’s stay.

🏡 Safety, Trust & Environment Yulia’s Doggy Boarding is designed to feel like a cozy home away from home. To keep the environment calm, safe, and personal, we limit the number of dogs staying with us at one time. We recommend booking as early as possible - especially for major holidays - since spots fill quickly. We typically confirm regular dates up to 3 months in advance Holiday periods are planned about 4 months ahead If our schedule isn’t finalized yet, we’ll note it and follow up as soon as it is. ⏰ Boarding Timing Policy Boarding covers a 24-hour period. If pickup is more than 4 hours after the drop-off time, a daycare fee will apply. (Example: drop-off at 9 AM → pickup after 1 PM the next day.) 📅 Cancellation Policy Because spots are limited and often booked in advance, last-minute cancellations leave an empty space another dog could have used. Cancellations 7 days or less before the stay will incur a 50% fee, unless due to emergencies (such as illness or flight cancellations).

General Health For the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, we require that every guest arrives healthy and free of any contagious illnesses. Unfortunately, we are unable to board dogs showing symptoms of illness. We’re happy to administer basic medications as needed. Please ensure all medications are clearly labeled and include detailed dosage instructions. If your dog requires specialized or ongoing medical care, please contact us in advance so we can discuss their needs and confirm we can provide the appropriate support. Bedding & Toys We provide comfortable dog beds and a variety of toys for all guests. Unless your dog has a specific comfort item they truly need, we recommend leaving favorite beds and toys at home. While we do our best to keep belongings safe, items that come with your dog may not always return in the same condition.
