Hi! I’m Kate 😊 I’m a gentle and caring animal lover with about 6 years of pet care experience. I currently care for a cat and previously had a British Shorthair, so I’m familiar with different cat personalities and routines. I also have past experience caring for dogs, though I no longer have one due to moving and space limitations. I only take one pet at a time, follow each cat’s routine closely, and send regular photo updates. I’m home most of the time, so your pet will get plenty of attention. While I’m newer to Rover, I’m responsible, communicative, and truly enjoy caring for pets 🐾

I could not have asked for a better catsitter than Yuanyuan. She took extraordinary care of my cat Eddie, boarding him for 10 days. I had never boarded him before so I was a bit nervous, but Yuanyuan was very thorough about what I could expect and followed through with every detail as promised. She sent daily updates with photos and videos so I always knew exactly how he was doing. He was naturally a little anxious, but Yuanyuan was very detailed about what she was doing to help make him as comfortable as possible. She was so compassionate and caring and I felt confident right away that Eddie was in good hands. I'm sorry I don't live in San Diego because I would definitely ask Yuanyuan if I needed a sitter again. I can't recommend her enough. Your pet will be in very good hands.
Yuanyuan was absolutely amazing! She was super quick to respond and kept me updated throughout the day, which I really appreciated. I especially loved receiving pictures of my sweet Memo throughout the day, it made me feel so comfortable knowing he was having fun and being well taken care of. Yuanyuan was wonderful with him, and I would absolutely book with her again in the future. I couldn’t recommend her enough! 🥰🐾

Yuanyuan is a kind and responsible person. She sent me photos and updates a couple of times a day. It was my first time sending my cat to another person's home, and I had no worries when she sent me photos and updates. My cat really liked her cat, and I think he fell in love with Yuanyuan and her cat. I will definitely choose her next time. 😻❤️

Schedule
I'm home almost all day with a very flexible schedule. I work from home, so I'm available for feeding, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. Your pet will rarely be left alone for more than 1–2 hours.

I provide a clean, quiet, and secure apartment. Doors and windows are always closed and locked. I only take one pet at a time, so your cat will never be around unfamiliar animals. I follow all care instructions carefully and monitor your pet's behavior daily for any changes in appetite, energy, or litter box habits.

A typical day
A typical day follows your cat's usual routine — feeding at their regular times, fresh water daily, and a clean litter box. For playtime, I use wand toys, laser pointers, or whatever they prefer. If they're more laid-back, I offer quiet companionship and gentle pets. I also send daily photo updates so you can see them relaxed and happy.
