Unfortunately, I would not book with this sitter again. I never actually met Yrnis during the entire stay. At drop-off, his grandmother came out to get my dog. She was very kind, but she did not speak English. I speak some Spanish, so I was able to communicate with her to an extent, but someone who does not speak Spanish may have difficulty communicating detailed care instructions. We arrived within our scheduled drop-off window, but I called and texted multiple times without receiving a response, which delayed us and made us late for our plans. Communication throughout the stay was also a major concern for me. On the first day, I called and texted multiple times asking for an update because I specifically wanted to make sure my dog had eaten breakfast, as I had not had time to feed her that morning. I eventually received some photos, but my question about whether she had eaten was never answered. After that, I did not receive regular updates during the stay. This left me worried about my dog throughout my trip. At pickup, I again did not see Yrnis. His grandmother handled the pickup and had to call him multiple times before he answered to confirm that we were arriving. Most importantly, my dog seemed completely fine when I picked her up, and his grandmother was very nice. However, the lack of communication and the fact that I never met or interacted with the person I had booked to watch my dog made me uncomfortable. For those reasons, I personally would not recommend this sitter.
Smokey seemed happy while I was away, so I’m happy!

Yrnis and his family are so lovely and take Great care of our dog. She has boarded at their house multiple times and I know she is happy and well-looked after because she’s gets so excited whenever we pull into their complex. They are also incredibly accommodating with drop off and pick up times. We are so happy to have found Yrnis and his family!
