Yongqi truly went above and beyond for my dog. ❤️ She took the time to understand his routine and made sure he felt comfortable, happy, and well cared for throughout his stay. She followed his feeding, walking, and playtime schedule perfectly and kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind.. This was my first time using Yongqi’s service. Although her Rover account is new, after talking with her, I could immediately tell that she is very experienced in caring for dogs. She also has several certifications in animal care and pet first aid, which gave me even more confidence in leaving my dog with her. Maimai was so comfortable and happy during his stay. Yongqi kept me updated throughout his stay with regular messages and updates, which really put my heart at ease. I’m very happy with her excellent dog boarding service and the care she provided to Maimai. I would definitely use her service again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced pet sitter!
This was my first time using Yongqi’s Pet Sitting services. My pup can take some time to warm up to new people and surroundings so I was a little worried, but Yongqi put my mind at ease as soon as we walked in the door. Margo took to her right away! She kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout Margo’s stay, and when I came to pick her up, my pup wasn’t sure if she wanted to leave. I really appreciated Yongqi’s care and attention, and I will definitely be using her again. Thank you Yongqi!!
An absolute lifesaver! I was stuck in BC and was left in a dilemma when my friends fell through last minute to watch my Pom Boogie and she was stuck alone at home. Lucky enough Yongqi was there to save the day! Boogie had never stayed with a sitter before and usually has separation anxiety, but with Yongqi she was even happier than she is at home! Yongqi was amazing and supportive through the whole ordeal even providing food for boogie. She sent me regular updates and photos throughout the day to put my heart at ease I will definitely be a regular client moving forward! Thank you so much.

Schedule
I’m home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day and can easily accommodate their individual feeding, walking, bathroom, playtime, and bedtime schedules. My schedule is flexible, so I can adjust my routine based on each pet’s needs. Whether they need frequent potty breaks, extra playtime, longer walks, or simply lots of company and cuddles, I’m happy to make their routine part of mine.

In my home, safety and comfort always come first. I provide a clean, secure, and calm environment where pets can settle in at their own pace. I closely supervise the pets in my care and pay attention to their behavior and body language, especially when they are adjusting to a new environment. I always follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, allergies, routines, and any special needs. I never force interactions and make sure every pet has their own space to relax and feel comfortable. I’m also Pet First Aid certified and provide regular photo and video updates, so you can have peace of mind while your fur baby is in my care.

A typical day
My days are structured around your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. Maintaining familiar feeding, bathroom, walking, and sleeping schedules can help pets feel more relaxed while they are away from home. Mornings usually begin with a bathroom break and some gentle attention. Depending on the pet’s energy level and routine, we may go for a walk or spend some time playing and exploring. Breakfast is served according to the instructions you provide, including any special feeding routines. During the day, pets have opportunities for supervised play, walks, enrichment activities, and plenty of downtime. I believe rest is just as important as exercise, especially for pets who are adjusting to a new environment. Pets are never expected to be constantly active. They can relax, nap, observe what is happening around them, or simply enjoy some quiet companionship. Afternoons may include another walk, outdoor time, interactive games, or enrichment activities. For dogs who enjoy playing, there may be games such as fetch, tug-of-war, or searching for hidden treats. For dogs who prefer a slower pace, we can take leisurely walks and spend time sniffing and exploring. Sniffing and exploring are great ways for dogs to use their minds and satisfy their natural curiosity. Evenings are generally calmer. After dinner and a final round of play or a walk, pets can settle down and relax for the night. I follow each pet’s individual bedtime routine as closely as possible.

- I believe pet sitting should be more than simply providing food and a place to sleep. Pets deserve interaction, mental stimulation, affection, and opportunities to enjoy themselves. Depending on your pet’s personality and comfort level, fun activities may include walks, supervised outdoor time, fetch, gentle play, puzzle toys, sniffing games, basic training exercises, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I also enjoy taking photos and videos during the stay so you can see how your pet is doing and share in their little adventures while you are away. Safety is always my top priority. I also follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, allergies, and other important routines. Most importantly, I want every pet to feel respected and comfortable. Whether your companion is outgoing, shy, playful, senior, energetic, or a professional couch potato, I will do my best to provide care that matches their individual needs. My goal is simple when you are away, your pet should feel safe, loved, entertained, and at home.
