Loving dog parents with foster exp!
*Last update: September 6, 2026* We live in a 3-floor townhome with a small doggie lawn in the backyard in Hawthorne, Philadelphia. We have been dog parents since January 2023 and have fostered 10+ dogs through Muddy Paws and Korean K9 Rescue. We also boarded many dogs of our friends and neighbors, so we're very comfortable caring for new dogs and multiple pets at once. We have two dogs: Moonie and Sunnie. Our first, an 18-pound female Jindo mix, absolutely loves the company of other dogs and has always gotten along well with her foster siblings and friends. Our second, 20-pound male Dachshund mix is a velcro dog who is very playful and also loves playing with other dogs. They will provide your pet with companionship and same-species playtime! As dog lovers, we continuously strive to learn more about canine care through research. Your dog will receive plenty of love and attention from us, along with enjoyable walks in the beautiful ramble in Hawthorne Park just steps away. We look forward to caring for your furry family member!

Yongkyum and Sejin were so loving and took a great care of my 2 year old dog Luno. He got a lot of love and fun. Yongkyum and Sejin were very responsive to text communication and sent a lot of pictures and videos during Luno’s stay.
Yodel had a fabulous time!! It’s like a summer camp for him! He was there for 11 days and Sejin and Yong took great care of him. Sejin would send multiple pictures and videos to keep us posted. 🥰 He was engaged with different types of games, too!! Thank you Sejin and Yong!

Young and Sejin were very caring sitters and can tell they are experienced animal caretakers. Star enjoyed her stay and they made sure all her needs were met. Received plenty of updates, pics, and videos which was very assuring. Would definitely rebook in the future.

Schedule
I (Sejin, the wifey) have a flexible work-from-home schedule most weekdays and weekends. Caring for dogs and walking them in the middle of the day is a breeze for me.

Safety, trust & environment
We will designate a comfortable space for your dog in our 2nd floor dog playroom (yes, this is real) and ensure regular walks—typically four times a day. Throughout the day, we engage in playtime to provide both exercise and mental stimulation. Your dog will have access to a variety of toys, including chew toys, plush toys, interactive motor toys, and puzzles, ensuring plenty of fun and enrichment. We do have carpeted staircases so please let us know if your dog has joint problems.

A typical day
We have two full buckets of dog toys and puzzles, and make our own dog treats sometimes (usually involving chicken, our dogs' favorite). You are welcome to bring your dog’s toys too.

- Let us know if your dog has special needs or behavioral issues we should know in advance. We have experience caring for a senior dog with mild health issues, a small dog with skin troubles, and many foster dogs with various behavioral issues (separation anxiety, barking, excessive peeing).
