A few years ago, my uncle went to China for 8 months. During that time, I took care of his pit bull, Eve. She was very high energy & friendly. I love to sing so I would often sing in order to calm her down when she got too hyper (she would look at me sideways with her ears sticking straight up-- the absolute cutest thing). Eve taught me a lot about patience and how to be gentle, yet firm. I love big dogs, but I have experience sitting for small dogs as well. The last dog I sat was a quirky chihuahua named Chalkie. Unlike Eve, Chalkie preferred relaxing over playing and running around. However, I had no problem matching his energy. His owner said that Chalkie must have liked me a lot because he didn't greet her with a cold shoulder like he usually does when she arrives home from a business trip. My schedule is often pretty flexible, I'm responsible, attentive, intuitive, friendly, fun, (semi) athletic (I played basketball and lacrosse in high school), and I love connecting with both humans and animals alike.
