I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, and caring for them has always been a natural part of who I am. I grew up with dogs, so I understand their behaviour, needs, and how to make them feel safe and happy. Over the years, I have also cared for cats and small animals like hamsters, which has given me experience with different personalities and routines. In addition, I have regularly looked after dogs and cats for neighbours, friends, and family when they go on holiday, as well as doing this professionally. This has helped me become reliable, attentive, and confident handling different types of pets. I am a very caring and patient person, and I truly see animals as part of the family. In fact, I became vegetarian because of my love and respect for animals. At the moment, I have a Chihuahua who is the queen of our home, so I am used to giving lots of attention, affection, and daily care. I will treat every pet as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after at all times.

Yolanda looked after my dog for a week, and I couldn’t have asked for better care. My dog has special needs, including daily cleaning of one eye (which is missing), as well as the application of drops and cream. Yolanda handled all of this with great care, patience, and confidence. She truly looked after him as if he were her own. Throughout his stay, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. Yolanda also kept me updated with photos of his walks and little adventures, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was lovely to see how he became part of her family during that time. He absolutely adores her and can’t wait to go back and visit again! I would highly recommend Yolanda to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving, and dedicated pet carer.

Schedule
I currently work part-time as a therapist and teacher, mostly in the afternoons. This means I’m available for dog walks and pet sitting most mornings and early afternoons, making it easy for me to give your pets personal attention, exercise, and care. I can also adapt to your pet’s routine, and I’m happy to provide updates or photos during walks or visits, so you know your furry friend is happy and safe. 🐾 Sleepovers / Holiday Pet Care I also offer overnight stays for your pets while you’re on holiday. Your furry friend will stay in a safe, loving home with plenty of attention, cuddles, and care, so they feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I make sure to follow their usual routine, provide meals on schedule, walks, and playtime, and can send updates and photos so you have peace of mind.

🐾 What to Expect A typical day with me is full of care, attention, and fun! I take dogs on walks in Fuengirola’s beautiful parks and along the beach, giving them plenty of exercise and time to explore. I love seeing dogs enjoy the fresh air and the beach—it’s my favourite part of the day too!. I make sure every dog is safe, comfortable, and happy at all times. During walks, I provide lots of affection, mental stimulation, and socialisation if appropriate. At home, your dog will receive personal attention, cuddles, and a calm, loving environment. I am experienced with different breeds and sizes, and I adapt the walk or playtime to each dog’s needs and energy level. You can also receive updates and photos during walks or visits, so you know your pet is in good hands.
