A typical day is always based on each pet’s routine and personality. I start with feeding and refreshing water, followed by relaxed interaction and playtime. For cats, this may include interactive play with wand toys or balls, and quiet time together so they feel comfortable and secure. For dogs, fun activities usually include relaxed walks with plenty of time to sniff and explore, as well as light play such as fetch or tug with their favourite toys, depending on their energy level. I can also provide some simple training for puppies. I always keep play safe and positive, and I never over-stimulate pets. Throughout the visit, I make sure pets feel calm and cared for, and I’m happy to send photo or text updates so owners can see how their pets are doing.
