As a pet parent and Rover user myself, I understand how it feels to trust someone with your pet. I always follow instructions closely and pay attention to each pet’s unique needs to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I have a flexible schedule (WFH + some office days) and spend plenty of time with the pets I care for. I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s routine and provide lots of companionship and attention.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment and share my home with a 10 month-old beagle puppy who is playful and super friendly to all dogs and humans. My dog loves having a playmate and can be a great companion to help your dog feel at home. For safety, I always keep dogs on leash and follow your walking preferences—whether that’s a calm, nature-filled route or a more lively neighborhood. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and have plenty of fun while in my place.

Let me know your pets - if they have social or separation anxiety, friendly with other dogs/cats/people - daily routines, walking preferences, are they afraid of noise and sensitive to stimulations - energy level and how long they need for potty break - where to reach their food/treat sources - if I’m allowed to give them any treat/fruit - any medication, special needs or health problem record I need to know - access instructions for key or password - if your dog has been with sitter before and any other questions you might have
A typical day
A typical day starts with a short morning walk (10–15 mins) before breakfast. After breakfast, we head out for a longer walk to the park for exercise, playtime, and socializing—usually about 30–60 minutes depending on your dog’s energy and comfort level. Then it’s time to relax at home. In the afternoon, I offer light treats (like fresh fruit if approved) and engage them with fun enrichment activities like treat puzzles and simple brain games. We’ll also go for another walk before dinner to sniff and explore, plus a quick potty walk before bedtime. I would love to adjust the routine based on your dog’s needs, energy, and preferences.

Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I grew up with dogs—a terrier mix and a greyhound—— and I’ve raised rabbits, chickens, ducks, pigeons when I was a kid. I love all kinds of animals not only pets. Now I share my home with a puppy, she’s simply the best and I love her so much. I truly enjoy caring for dogs and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their humans are away. I have experience with puppies & cats (including basic training and fun, enriching play). I will make sure to follow instructions, make the home environment and routine mostly comfortable for them. I will treat your pets like my own —they are welcome on the couch and beds, and lots of care, playtime , and love. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I will provide a second home while they away from home.

Yirui was so helpful and flexible. We are first time puppy parents and we are in a situation where Chutney can’t go to daycare until he finishes his shots.
