As a kid, my parents only agreed to let me get a dog if I committed to taking care of it. So, I raised, trained, and cared for our precious golden retriever for 8 years until going off to college. Since then, I've jumped at every chance to dogsit for my friends' dogs - I've taken care of more than 15 different dogs (breeds, sizes, needs, dog-alities) to date. I can't wait to meet your dog(s) and promise to love and care for them as if they were my own :)

Yiran stayed with my 55lb 16 mo/old pup Kelly for one night in my apartment, and did an excellent job! She checked in with me a day beforehand to make a plan, arrived on time, and kept me updated throughout the night with pictures and texts. She reached out when she had one question which made me feel even more confident that she was taking great care of Kelly. Kelly also has a few strange behaviors, and Yiran took them all in stride (and even taught me how to help with play biting!). Finally, I was most impressed by how much she remembered about my dog from our meet and greet 3 weeks prior. Yiran would be a GREAT choice for anyone needing a dog sitter. I certainly look forward to her help in the future ?? As a sidenote, she was also very clean and left my apartment just as it was when I left.
If it was possible to give Yiran more than 5 stars, I would!! We were in town for our son's wedding and had never left our golden retriever, Abby, with a sitter before. Yiran was absolutely wonderful and we felt so comfortable leaving Abby with her. Yiran took Abby for a walk, played ball with her and made sure that she was happy in our absence. We also received pictures of Abby during the day, and could tell from the smile on Abby's face that she was having a good time! I highly recommend Yiran as a responsible and loving dog sitter.
Yiran is by far the best pet sitter I’ve ever had!y last experience with a pet sitter wasn’t that great but Yiran really impressed me! She took my dogs on adventures almost everyday and sent me the best pictures! She left my home so nice and clean! If I ever need another pet sitter I will always contact her first!
I was very nervous to use Rover because I’ve never had anyone outside of family/friends watch my dogs, let alone stay in my home, but Yiran made the experience wonderful! She was open to meeting before the initial pet sitting date to meet my dogs and see the house, and during the day of the stay she let me know when she got to the house, sent pictures of my dogs with updates on everything, and kept everything clean. She is very responsive to text/calls, flexible in working with you, super respectful of your space and gives lots of love to your babies. I will definitely be having her sit my girls again.
Yiran took care of my 4 year old labradoodle Bodie for three days while I went on a work trip. Bodie has anxiety and though he's loving and kind, he can be a bit much in unfamiliar situations. Yiran was a champ with Bodie's quirkiness and made sure Bodie got a good amount of exercise to keep him happy. When, I came back to get him I found a happy healthy pup, and thats all you can ever hope for! Separately I know Yiran professionally, and can tell you she is hardworking, honest, and trustworthy. You won't go wrong leaving your fur baby in her capable hands.
Yiran is a very thoughtful, responsible and attentive caregiver to my dog Leo. My puppy is a 20-lbs mini golden doodle full of energy but also very affectionate. He loves staying with Yiran because she understands both his needs to have a full and active lifestyle, while also nurturing his loving nature. She takes him on long walks and brings him with her whenever possible, which helps with his separation anxiety. I never have to worry when I am on a trip and Leo is with Yiran because I know he feels as loved as he does at home!

Schedule
I'm a graduate student at Stanford and am pretty busy during the weekdays, but I love to spend my free weekends with dogs! My schedule will be much more flexible this summer if you need a more consistent sitter or walker then :)

Safety, trust & environment
In the home, I'm happy to adapt to you and your dog's needs and preferences - i.e. whether you want them on the couch/bed or not ;) In case of emergency, I have a car and can drive to pick up meds, bring your dog to the vet, etc. I am sadly allergic to cats!
Pets
A typical day
I love to hike, so if your pup does do, I'd love to take them to a nearby preserve or trail! Arastradero is one of my favorites :) Otherwise, we'll take a leisurely stroll or two around your neighborhood. The rest of the day will be spent playing and cuddling!
